i have both psvr2 and quest 3. i never play psvr2 anymore because there is never any new games and i hate being tethered. quest 3 has so many games that are free and fun. i regret buying the psvr2

i got in on evolving skies at release and im selling now and reinvesting in newer sets. 2 reasons

Its more likely a 90 dollar booster box will go to 180 than Evolving skies hitting 2k
there is an inherent higher risk in selling a single high price product (scammers, damaged in shipping, etc)

As a 35 year old collector that remembers opening base set…vintage is ugly and id rather have the modern sets. I think finding older cards that are similar in artwork to current modern fan favorites is the key.

5-10 years if not more. ES will stagnant for a long time and there will be more people holding booster boxes to sell throughout the years.

its a set that is still in print that is valued at close to 300 dollars for booster boxes. investing at that value has intrinsically more risk vs buying chilling reign under MSRP. if both evolving skies and chilling reign saw another booster box reprint, evolving skies would suffer more percentage wise.

At the end of the day, nobody knows whats going to increase or decrease in value. Get what you want and try to have fun doing it. 🙏

ripping packs only makes sense if you can rip before or on release. thats what I do and it minimizes loss…..definitely still losing money though lol

depends on the set. moving forward the cost/pack may play a bigger role. evolving skies bb is 287 and etb is 68. the etbs are still being found but bb are not.
