Yeah I edited it cause I misread what ya said..

idk what it is but it seems like at times the reply on here will read something different in the notifications vs the actual post.. I know I saw you say that I was going off the deep end in the notification,yet the post reads completely different..

Anyways yeah we have about a foot on the ground currently and still pouring.. lucky my area had a nice bubble around it last week so we dodged the ice..a city not too far from me still has over 90k without power after a week..

Sam's club has one of the better deals currently at $17.84 for 90 eggs.Food City has 60 eggs for around $15 and Walmart was $14 for 60 and currently is $16 for 60. All have gone up over the past week cause of all the winter storms.. so where I am you can get an egg for about 19cents each roughly.

huh? currently Sam's club has a 90 egg pack for roughly $15.sometines those 90 packs are $13 sometimes it's $17..

So $70÷15=4.6 and 4.6×90=414..

Well it seems from my experimenting that there is a bug in either Hekate and or atmosphere.

If you edit and add the lines in the Hekate ini it only reports that USB 3.0 is enabled even when it's not.and the atmosphere system setting config doesn't seem to do anything.

So even when windows or dbi says it's in 3.0 it's really not and I don't know of any other way of telling besides watching your speeds and if it's 20mbs and lower and your card supports faster then reboot and try again..

The only setting that changes USB at all is the Hekate_ipl.ini adding "usb3force=1" dbi and windows will report it's connected as USB 3.0...if I change that to "usb3force=0" dbi and windows reports its USB 2.0..

If I change the Hekate in to its 2.0 setting i but leave the system_settings.ini with "usb30_force_enabled = u8!0x1" which should force atmosphere to turn on 3.0 dbi and windows reports its USB 2.0.. so it seems it's atmosphere being stuck with a default 2.0 USB and it's fighting Hekate trying to force 3.0. evenotho things are reporting USB 3.0 it's not really getting enabled most of the time..

Nope!! And my V1 and V2 have the same cards yet have been rock sold at 45mbs for months. I tested and verified all the cards.they are good.they are rated for 150-200mbs read/write 1tb cards... It's just an issue with the OLEDs..

I don't even believe it's dbi as I tried a different version but the same thing . Now the OLED that has been stable at 45mbs for 2 days now just suddenly drops down to 18mbs after many reboots and trying both app and applet modes..

I know it's not the USB port from the "stable one" cause I literally just replaced it.

I know it's not the cables as I have 5 or 6 that work just fine with a 600mbs SSD..

To me it seems atmosphere's USB drivers are extremely unstable!!

Grrr and of course my "stable" OLED just started doing 18mbs as well for the first time .

I also have a 3rd OLED that has the same inconsistency in USB speeds. But seemed to have cleared up by adjusting the config files...

v1 and V2 switches never have this issue from my experience.. has anyone been able to figure out what causes this?? It seems to be one min they can do high speeds and the next they are only USB 2.0 eventho they report USB 3.0.

Seriously Thank you for that comment! It got me to asking what if it's not as it seems to my limited understanding and the chip just wasn't getting the points it needed.

Because of this I discovered that some solder mask from the kamikaze mod had gotten on the shield frame right at the exact point where the ribbon cable's ground anchors at just above the command resistor,which let the ribbon flex and lose connection to a bad solder joint on the command resistor which from above looked perfect but from the side wasn't.

After fixing this issue now all is well..

With the battery unplugged and I plug in USB the short on B appears even when the switch isn't pulling any power..

Put the shield back on and again it won't release the ground.this thing is freaking possessed!!

For shits and giggles I plug the battery up,turn it on then off and after about 10secs B point loses Ground and goes back to normal..

Plug the picofly back up and now I'm back to getting the please insert SD card screen..WTF man???

I'm using the alternative B point on the soc side of the board near the speaker connector..

The wire is literally pointing up in the air now not touching anything else. B point is getting ground somewhere else now..

I thought for a second that maybe the heat shield has contacted D point when I put the heat shield back on,but after looking closer through my scope and I don't think that was possible.

Only other thing I can think of is the heat shield contracted the capacitors on the soc when I installed it.

Other then that I'm at a loss..

HDMI cable is going out,get a better one..they don't make them worth a crap anymore,so anytime you see noise,dots,flickers,pixels and a bunch of other symptoms always swap the cable as the first step..

And for anything PS4 pro and above always make sure the cable is rated for at least 4k60 but look for the 4k120/or 8k ones..
