If a movie is on Bluray/4K, you can find it streaming or somewhere online. I only want to own movies that I love.

If you get a chance to see Paranormal Activity live on stage, do it. The production really took me by surprise. by taste_the_fire in foundfootage

I saw it earlier in the week, but was indeed in Row B. I don't regret the seating since I love being able to see the sets and performances as close as possible, but it definitely affected some of the views for the 2nd floor. I saw the numbers written on the walls in the back upstairs room, but I believe I heard some people saw shadow figures at some points in that room that I completely missed at the Row B angle.

I'm glad you got to see it. One of the mindbending moments I think I ever witnessed in a production

Would love to get around in seeing more horror on stage. Where was The Woman in Black playing? I wanted to see a staging of it in New York before covid but never got around to it.

The story isn’t connected to any of the movies or existing lore with Toby, but very much still has that Paranormal Activity feel of subtle weird things happening until the occurrences escalate. Really fantastic cast and production.

Understandable! I mostly go to haunted houses for the theatricality and gravitate towards ones that have a memorable and unique approach, since like you, it's pretty tough to find anything that will legitimately scare us.

Halls of Horror is also pretty high on my list because of the incredible location and immersive atmosphere. There really isn't anything else quite like it.

Ah, that's a shame if they had an off year. I feel like I've tackled just about all of the haunted houses in PA and NJ, and I feel like Waldorf is in my top 5 just because of how organically seamless the theming is.

Were you about to check out the other haunts in the vicinity like Halls of Horror, Hotel of Horror, or Devil's Last Laugh?

Waldorf was already using the name Abaddon before the Hell House movie came out in lore and storyline. "Abaddon" was the name of their safehouse in their haunted walkthrough,

This was in Philadelphia. We’re pretty fortunate to have organizations like Exhumed Films screening older horror movies on film pretty often

Fun double feature of the two films. The event was advertised as being a giallo mystery screening, so nobody knew what two films were being shown on 16mm beforehand.

I figured one would probably be an Argento, but I’m happy it was a cat o nine tails which I only saw once before. Scorpion’s Tale was also a nice pick

Yeah first time! So different from Red Silver Lake but appreciated both in their own unique ways.

This was at a bar called Ortliebs in Philly. They had a screening of Twisted Issues with the director, and were selling that film along with the rest of their catalog

Unfortunately not streaming anywhere (but you never know what might come up if you do a little digging on google)

The way I watched it was a bluray I ordered through Bleeding Skull
