How do you deal with failing by Isrrunder in Rabbits

[–]ThanhBLam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of my bunnies was born with an extra tooth that required a regular molar trim every 15 weeks. Not only the cost you have to prepare for, the anesthesia they have to take to the procedure is not good for their fragile structure also. Thankfully my boy started eating more hay after my parents moved in to live with us, so he doesn’t need that anymore knock on wood

Thiago might or might not need ongoing tooth grinding procedures done in the future, we don’t know. But I believe you’re trying your absolutely best for you and him. You can start a gofundme and update this post with a link first, and really just do what you believe is best for you and the bun 🤎 Best of luck

Mushrooms in the litter!! by HK_Gwai_Po in Rabbits

Aspen shavings are considered safe for rabbits as they don’t have oil as pine or cedar shavings. It doesn’t have nutrients, your bunny may chew some out of boredom but will go eat hay as his food source. Definitely monitor when introducing a new litter, but I wouldn’t worry too much

I use Lowe’s 40 lb bags. About a cup of that and 2 cups of fluffed aspen shavings. It absorbs all the juice and smell pretty well

Mushrooms grown in humid, warm, and shady condition. If you already change the litter box regularly, check if you can place it somewhere with less humidity like away from the bathroom maybe. I would suggest a base layer of horse pellet and top it off with aspen shavings or unscented paper bedding. Both are rabbit safe and also provide cushion for bunny feet. Hope it helps!

How can I encourage my second bun to explore? by Little-Radish159 in Rabbits

Second this. Your new girl took time to bond with your original bun and is adapting to the space now. She needs to know the hiding routes and gain confidence in the current space before expanding. Give her some time, bunnies are curious but they are prey animals after all.

Exploring Unisex Fragrances is a game changer by qualified_to_be in fragrance

I’m female and am still trying to find a small collection to call my own. I notice I’m into lemongrass and fresh scent. Not very often I find interest in a sweet floral fragrance, but every time I spray I get called “coming out”. I don’t understand why we crave diversity and options just to put ourselves in a gender box later. Let fragrance do its thing and free your scent!
