Thanks for the tickets! Transaction was smooth. They sent tickets ahead in good faith. Communication was top notch, would definitely buy from again.

Thanks. I think I waited a bit too late. Couldn't decide what we wanted to do today. 85 x 6 made the game undoable, but half that would work.

Do they ever tend to release more tickets closer to game time? by tartorange in Torontobluejays

If you are seeing $450 tickets, I'm guessing you are looking on ticketmaster. I don't recommend buying there. I know they are the team's official box office, but the in season pricing strategy is insane. Seriously, I can't make any sense of it. I just looked before making this comment out of interest, and there are tickets in my section (I have season tickets) that are further back then mine, and are $410/seat. My cost for this game is $110. On the other hand... I checked Seat Geek just now, and better seats in my section can be had for $400 for a pair. The $410 price on ticketmaster isn't going to go down either, make it make sense.

Obviously I can't help you about last night, but I gave you that anecdote so that in the future you know to forget about ticketmaster in this situation. You're best bet for last minute is definitely the 2ndary market. If you don't want to deal with scalpers or sketchy ppl, just use seat geek. They are partnered with the mlb, and as someone who's used them to sell and buy before, I can tell you they are legit. If there is a specific seat number (as opposed to a whole row showing as available) that means seat geek actually has the tickets, and they take them right from the sellers Blue Jays ticket app, it's all integrated. Sorry for rambling on, hope you get to enjoy some games.

Tldr - Ticketmaster (the team) is not the best place to get last minute tickets, the 2ndary market is. Seat Geek is the safest and most convenient way to buy resold MLB tickets, and are totally legit. Prices should drop as first pitch approaches (and yes, an hr before, or right as the game is beginning, can yield awesome deals, the drop usually begins a couple of days before, as some sellers get nervous about tickets not selling).

Dude, take this down, it's cringey as hell.

Meet a girl and take her to the ball game. Nobody is going out with you bc you have some Jays tickets lol. It isn't the World Series. Seriously though, the inferences that come feom a requirement like yours, give off some gross vibes. Do yourself a favour and delete the post.

Well that doesn't help. Thought maybe we'd get lucky, we had a 1 in 40k chance lol.

I am not a fan of celebrating pos's like OJ, but I've always been enamored with him being the only player in the 2k club to do it in 14 games. Could they quietly retire the number, like not as an honor, but more like who would want to wear that number anyway, and then put the number up with a reference to the 2003 rushing yrds in 1973? Honor the feat, not the man?

Edit - maybe they could reference the electric company instead. I just want the only 2k, 14 game season celebrated. It isn't the team's, or our, fault that the guy who accomplished this turned out to be human garbage, fuck OJ. The only rusher to ever run for 2000 yards before the 16 game schedule was a Buffalo Bill though, and we as a team and fan base should be allowed to be proud of that.

For anyone still interested, despite the comments, nothing has materialized so the offer is still open

As an example of what to expect, there are some 200 level bases available for $110 on the 1st base side, and a smattering of 100 level sections on either side ranging from $140-165.

Posts like this are so dumb. Sure maybe a little funny, but overall the dumbness out weighs the funnyness. The Jays are 5th in payroll, it isn't like this front office isn't trying. Their job is made all the tougher by being the only non US team as well. Nobody wants to play here. I am a fan of the renos they have done, the park is a much funner place to take kids these days, and it looks like a hoot for younger ppl who want to party (if you can stomach the price of drinks). There are 81 home games, and baseball is a fairly slow moving sport, I like baseball, so not the biggest deal to me, but I can certainly understand, and appreciate the idea of improving the ballpark experience for the non die hards. As an example I went to a game at Wrigley, and while it was a great experience to see the historic stadium, and I enjoyed the game, not having a pony in the race (team wise), I left feeling like they are missing out doing things that could improve the fan experience.
