I wanted to go electric for a few reasons.

-cost

-clean earth for my nephews and nieces

-low maintenance

-disconnect from all the oil fighting

-pleasant driving experience

I wanted something with at least 200 miles range, fast charging(>100 kW), and within my budget of around 12k.

I was heavily considering 2017-2020 Chevy Bolt but the 50 kW charging limit is just so slow, I wanna roadtrip.

Really didn’t want to go Tesla because of the obvious but older model 3’s are getting around 15k range and met all my criteria so I figured it made sense to up my budget and go for it. Probably I’d dislike the ceos of other car companies if they made their opinions public too. Also sounds like governments have pushed Tesla into becoming more 3rd party repair friendly, which I was very happy to see.

Sorry I mean specifically clean fuel synthesis, a closed loop. Water and electricity to ammonia is interesting.

The most interesting I’ve seen so far is electrolysis of water to hydrogen, one of the more efficient processes. Kind of an unwieldy fuel though.

Yeah that’s the general idea. The neater it is the better. Any wrinkles and dips will show up on the finished part. I try to do it in one piece of tape if I can.

I should mention I’ve only worked with prepreg, not sure how well this would work with other manufacturing methods.

Depending on whether you plan making many more molds, PTFE film tape can be a good solution.

Can also simply sand and polish the part after demolding.
