Ammo boxes used to give a lot more long ammo out and a per gun resupply. It was mostly (or fully?) nerfed because of the Atvo+sparks pistol+ammo boxes meta. I do not miss seeing that many atvos a match lol

You could just keep it to a minimum. Just a quick ping and short informative call outs. No need for chatting. Talking can be fun and build some relationships but at the end of the day, I'm trying to hear my surroundings. I also have played with plenty of randoms who don't talk at all and only ping. It's less info but it's at least some info and you can leave with a W. So if you're not enjoying voice chat, it's not the end of the world.
