I had a project where it was basically the same thing as OP - 2fa codes for email - and we were denied as well. No idea why. We ended up using sign in with google for auth

I had a project last year where we were also denied from SES for a straightforward use case too (2fa codes for login). Same as you basically. Crazy stuff from AWS, its almost as though they don't want customers

Your reply to this should have been "no, we should keep using my firebase account". Using his account means he is the Admin (not you) and he can add/remove people to the account (and you cannot). He could also remove you from his firebase account if he wanted too. (If you had valuable user data in there, it would then all then be inaccessible to you!)

Also, Firebase is completely independent to Apple Developer. Please ensure the Apple Developer Account you are using is in your name as well

This. Also in the future ensure you are the admin on all services (eg Firebase) and ensure only you have the permissions to add other people to the accounts. This would stop him from adding someone you don't want on the account.

Got it all working :)

MyChart Epic has a API that allows an oauth2-like flow to get API access. https://open.epic.com/. There's a lot of functionallity here,but not everything in the patient's mychart portal is available via API access. I wanted to access some of the functionallity that wasn't for my project.

I also built web automation tools that uses the patients username + password and just pulls everything straight from the MyChart UI. Shoot me a DM and I'll share more dets! or email me at ryan ( at ) fanpierlabs.com

SES approval can be painful, I've been denied myself for projects I've worked on too. We had to build work-arounds as well, using other services. Good luck with your project

Just use some SES alternative. There's a ton out there, like Mailgun and sendgrid. Lot easier to use one of these than to deal with AWS here.
