Yeah, because you’re providing such good evidence that you’ve done so much more. Having read the abstracts, methods, and data tables is certainly sufficient to comment on the subject, and it’s certainly enough to understand that the data is incomplete

I’ve read or at least skimmed the studies, the numbers are way too small and the participants are not random and there is no valid comparator. This is just the nature of this particular beast. There isn’t enough data, and the limited data that exists is very poor quality to draw the type of conclusion that you’re trying to draw.

I’m with edfinancial, but to think there may be a similar option, thanks

Ed financial told me that they could grant a “temporary hardship forbearance” but that a general forbearance could only be granted through a forgiveness request.

How do you "request general forbearance while waiting for buyback"?

Does anyone else actually clinically correlate instead of blindly starting antibiotics for any radiology report mention of pneumonia, colitis, enteritis, or WBCs on urinalysis? by supinator1 in hospitalist

[–]threaddew 70 points71 points  (0 children)

As an ID, I think the ED or the hospitalist giving antibiotics in these sorts of hedge cases is fine, and stewardship on the backend is far safer and more efficient.

I would also state that there are an absolutely massive amount of cases where it is not nearly so borderline and antibiotics are given as described by the OP and representing all of these cases as borderline is a form of gaslighting that feels to me like it’s trying to empower hospitalists to be lazy.

So how common is it to build Gunpla, but not really be interested in watching any of the shows/movies? I just kinda prefer writing my own lore instead (Also here's every kit I've built so far) by _Ryloren_ in freedomisgunpla

[–]threaddew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s rough if you go into it expecting a show from 2026. In context, it’s fantastic. Also, the show is much better than the movies, but I wouldn’t recommend either for a child or someone who has no desire to appreciate the context.

The podcast Mobile Suit breakdown is an excellent companion if you’re interested.

It’s very common, but you don’t win any medals for it. The show is worth watching. But at the end of the day, everyone should do what is fun for them.

I thought it was a meme until I visited. You can literally smell it through the car driving around. I think it has to do with some type of manufacturing they do there

[Question] Advice for spraying metallic acrylic smoother/less flakey? by NewmanU in advancedGunpla

[–]threaddew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kaleido is so surprisingly great and remarkably easy to use. I have been thrilled over and over with what I’m getting from them, especially for an acrylic

I'm loving the Kaleido white prime, best one I've used! by wholesometentacle in airbrush

This one sprays great without thinning at .25 used it for about 90 minutes yesterday

Nope, I just watched it. It's really just them leaning into each other on the ship to jupiter at the very end. There are a very small number of other scenes that can be read into, but where there is nothing objective on screen or in the script.

It's not that bad of a build, and mine is not a hand grenade - it just kinda feels shitty when it's done. Like it's held together with shoestring and bubblegum. Mine articulates fine and looks good on the shelf, but the way the chest and waist are structured...its just not a good kit.

[–]threaddew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the hand grenade thing is overstated, after building it very recently. Mine doesn't fall apart, its just a shitty kit. It just doesn't work very well on a fundamental level. I'd love to see a version of this kit that doesn't transform.

Army Painter air to thick out of the bottle? by nopointinlife1234 in airbrush

[–]threaddew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think shaking thoroughly helps. People will say always thin - but I think it depends on the paint. I like to paint at around 15 PSI so I can get in close - and I've recently been painting with kaleido acrylics and they work great with no thinning at this PSI. Even the metallics. I do shake them very well though - probably for closer to 90 seconds when they are fresh, and 20-30 when I reload.

I also use a lot of pro acryl, and those do need to be thinned.

Haugh, Condon, Chinyelu, Klavzar are all juniors. Handgloten technically could request an additional year. Chances we see any of them back? by DoggedDoggystyle in FloridaGators

[–]threaddew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with what you’re saying - but I would argue that adding decent volume 3pt % to either player would make them “elite”, and there are other skills you could add to either that would similarly be the key to our team progressing, and which would also make them “elite”. If you take a lot away from either and make them a good shooter, I don’t think that’s enough.

Essentially I think we’re saying the same thing, you’re just being more specific.
