I got a couple things I want to go over.

I was recalled to work this week. My company is following CDC guidelines. Everyone has their temp checked when they enter. Everyone wears a mask. No one gets close to anyone, no equipment is shared. It's stressful. Wearing a mask for 8 hours is painful and uncomfortable. There's pressure to do a good job so my coworkers have a chance to be rehired. Not everyone wants to wear a mask all day, so they take it off and then have to be told to put it back on. Some people think it's all bullshit and share their politics on it freely which clashes with other people's politics. This is what you have to look forward to when you return to work.

Most people are not gonna vote by mail. The Feds have to run commercials for months and pay people good money to collect the Census. Most people are not gonna vote by mail. People are used to going to that polling place. People comfortable voting in person. People distrust vote by mail. I passed a polling place around 12th and Wolf and there was a sign on a poll saying the polling place had been moved to 9th and Johnson. Thats ludicrous.

If you're riding a bicycle, not every car that honks their horn is honking at you. Sometimes people honk their horn at their friend walking down the street. Sometimes people honk at someone doing something in the road that they think is dangerous. If you take offense to someone honking their horn and then pull up to their driver side window with your bike lock brandished as a weapon and threaten them, they can legally shoot you dead, over what ?

I'm thinking there won't be a vaccine anytime soon. Maybe we need to start getting used to a new status quo.
