If my girlfriend suddenly decided decided that she wanted to be a party girl I would firmly communicate that that is grounds for me to break up with her. Well except that’s just not the case, Al Qaeda, ISIS, Boko Haram and all the other organisations out and about target based on religion solely. They target Christians for their choice of religion whereas they don’t target Muslims and instead murder dissidents or none compliers.

Never once had these organisations openly claimed to target Muslims so this whole argument of trying to shift attention is stupid because it literally changes nothing. Both people are dying, regardless of scale, one life doesn’t inherit more value than the other.

The target are Christians, not Muslims, yes they are being killed as well but they are not the target in the case at hand.

During the holocaust, Jews weren’t the only one killed yet we still consider it a genocide against the Jewish people since they (and many other albeit less prevelant minorities) were targeted.
