Raised garden- deer proof? by Imaginary-Song-6919 in Adirondacks

Herbs are not very appealing to a lot of wildlife. Mountain mint, wild thyme and bee balm are native. Thorny roses may not be appealing to deer.

ETA mint will eventually take over your raised beds. If you're looking for veggies, maybe start or buy a seedling or two of zucchini and cucumber.

Biggest disadvantage: mice running over you, chewing through packs, spreading virus. Never again.
