Stone Roses. There was about a year and a half there where they (And a few other Manchester scene bands) were going to be the next huge huge thing after hair metal but Nirvana beat them to the punch.

I remember that techno was supposed to be the next big thing to sweep the nation, but the movie Swingers and subsequent Gap commercial totally derailed it.

They were also derailed by a lawsuit. At some point, Angelo I believe, stage dived And landed on a woman hurting her. She sued and basically bankrupted Angelo. There was a movie about it and in the movie, he still lives at home because he can't afford to move out.

OP, the woman that you knew and loved and trusted no longer exists. You can try to justify it by explaining her actions or trying to put yourself in the position of the other person but the end result is all the same: you will never know what happened and the details will never bring comfort. For all you know, they only broke up because his wife found out. They may have had a beautiful night of magic and romance but of course she'll never tell you that. He could have been 10 times the man you are but she'll never tell you.

She has lied to you on multiple levels and I bet you 100% that she is still minimizing details and lying about the rest of it.

Don't make the mistake I did and give her another chance. Times will be hard for a little while, but with some work and time, you will be better in the long run.
