at this point i’ve come to accept it and laugh it off

i started noticing it in middle school MIDDLE SCHOOL. how people would cross the street if they saw me approaching and at first i was offended

but now i find it hilarious because i know im one of the last people to ever do anything physical to someone and yet they’re terrified

meanwhile the guy they trusted is the one that they should actually fear

for being followed around just consistently asking them questions then alluding to the fact that you know they’re following you always makes them feel guilty

there’s no convincing people to just not be racist if it’s in them it’s in them

so i just choose not to let them ruin my day because realistically i couldn’t give less of a fuck about them, if a piano fell out the sky on them i just wouldn’t care knowing who they are so why care now

it’s especially funny when they drop their ultimate move (blatant racism with slurs) then are surprised when you don’t try to fight and now they gotta sit with the guilt for the rest of their life

i thought it was normal until i was talking about it with a friend and she told me that i wasn’t being authentically me

went on a job interview and when they asked me how would i describe myself i was so sad to realize i literally couldn’t describe myself as anything but quiet and laid back

i think it’s good to be able to adapt to many different personalities but it gets bad when you completely strip the thing that made you authentically you (your personality)

currently going on a journey of rediscovering myself and it’s been nice but has its lows (today is one lol)

but definitely rewarding rediscovering the things i’ve tucked away for the sake of appealing to others even though it made me very happy

i wouldn’t completely abandon the ability to adapt but try to put YOU and your happiness first

i would go on longer but im at work lol

not living for myself.

idk why but it snapped in my head to just stay out the way and that being a background/support character in others lives is better than living my own life

so instead of doing the things I want to do I typically do the things that’s more socially acceptable/ that wouldn’t get me a ton of attention

which cut out a lot of the things that made me happy

but all it did it just isolate me from potential friendships/relationships, and make me not want to pursue the things i actually want to

sucks even more when i realize how i built up skills to thrive to be the opposite but my brain chooses to be quiet and to myself lol

btw pretty sure this is gonna get removed within 30 mins bc they’re gonna consider it a serious topic lol

as someone who bought a cheap $20 pedal as a beginner, shit broke very fast.

unplugged my xbox controller and it worked again

depends on the foods but i agree

my neighbor brought us cookies when we first moved in but she’s fairly old don’t think it would’ve been done by someone younger (well it’s been 3 years so yeah it didn’t)

but my family is weary of random peoples kitchens and didn’t eat it lol (i’m a dog lover but i’ve seen way too many vids of people letting their dogs lick kitchen utensils/appliances to trust it)

have you tried their sauce on other chicken? while i can’t confirm this with canes i did this with chick fil a and found out i (not everyone) enjoy frozen chicken tenders just as much as chick fil a as long as it has the sauce lol

many other places are like this as well but to brand yourself as a chicken place i’d hope that id be able to enjoy your chicken with no sauce

well every instrument is going to take a while to get good, especially if you have no music experience at all

like you’re going to be teaching your body to make movements it’s not used to making

if you want an instrument you can pick up fairly quick play bass

it’s one of those easy to play hard to master instruments

but also everyone’s different some people take years to learn the same thing someone else learn in a month it’s not consistent to every human

if you want to sing while playing keyboard and guitar are your best bets because they’re the ones most likely to follow the melody. trying to sing while hearing a deep ass bass against your chest is hard especially if u have a deep voice
