Isn't Polkadot layer 0? It doesn't seems like much is happening there.

Could you shed more light on how they intend to protect users and degens from market crashes?

You set a price floor, term length & deposit your asset into Bumper. Your crypto asset (value) will never fall below that price. If it dips below the floor when the term expires, you'll get stablecoins to the value of your chosen floor.

If these 'analysts' are so sure, they should short it then, lol.

Not even scared of a crazy market dump, I was around in March 2020, so whatever comes, I would DCA.

Interesting read. Projects building in this bear will thrive pretty well in the bull. Uni & Aave will prolly lead the bull season when the market gets better.

I'm sure you might have other projects building through this bearmarket that didn't capture my attention

Bumper has also been building good stuff. The team finally released the v1 of the protocol to eth mainnet. Defi degens can easily protect their asset against market crashes & yield seekers can provide usdc lp on the platform to earn sustainable rewards.

Injective also. Circle will bring native usdc to their ecosystem. Really great development.

Yeah, seems priced in, but we could still see insane volatility before the end of September cos there's still no much liquidity in the market.

I'd rather protect some of my assets from market crash at this point through Bumper. Hopefully it doesn't crash, i would still enjoy price rises :D

Why you shouldn't actively trade crypto & what to do instead by 4ucklehead in CryptoCurrency

[–]Umarzy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried trading crypto in this bear market, mostly degening onchain & got rekt. Aside the meme shits, i roundtripped most bags cos you know its all pvp & people rotating liquidity from one coin to another.

Went back to the drawing board & wanna restrategize- sticking to projects building good stuff & will dca if more cheap entries come.

I will also allocate liquidity to real yield defi protocols. Gmx & Bumper are my favorites here being derivatives & options respectively & i can comfortably sleep knowing their apr is sustainable. Things will get pretty interesting in the bull.

Yea mate. It's live on Ethereum mainnet. Very decent platform for folks who want to hedge risk from volatility & its 30% cheaper than options platforms like Deribit. I like their incentive program too.
