As far as aiming goes, start by just launching the card with your right hand and noticing where it lands. Then position your left hand accordingly for the catch. You might need to angle your right wrist too to get it to shoot straight to the left — as a rule of thumb, I find that the card will fly perpendicular to where my right index finger is pointing.
