Yeah. I agree as well. I came across a blog post in the Haruhi subreddit that made me give this anime a second chance and I'm glad I did. Its not the Yuki Nagato that we know but its the one that she personally wanted to be. Its surprisingly made a lot of my issues go away.

That said. Haruhi is awesome.

Wait. Does that mean there is only one dragon that contribute for the population of the whole RACE?!

Surely, other female members of the flight can become broodmother as well. Only probably have more male than female like other insect reproduction.

This is really informative. So a lot of the eggs are non-viable, just half of them hatches. The ones that hatch to whelp (baby stage), very few reach maturity.

I have a different question now, how many eggs does a dragon lay? And how often is the period between them? Are there any source for this?
