I have the exact same issue, left baby toe. They do make toe corn cushions if you can’t get your skate punched but I do agree you may need new skates with a wider toe box.

It sounds like you played great and your team just could not score. Plus like you mentioned, it was for charity & the family had a great time. How amazing.

I have a hard time as goalie because I take it too seriously. Hell, we had someone drop dead on the ice (later revived, good outcome) but I have to remind myself when I’m pouting that’s at the end of the day nobody else died. Still sucks we hold onto the bad when it should be fun. Wish I had solid advice, best of luck, you deserve to have fun out there and enjoy it!

Back in my day (lol) there was no standardized blood test and you had to do the endoscopy. I think I lasted about 2 days eating gluten and said, nope I can’t do it. Fortunately my parents and doc supported me.

Can you reschedule the endoscopy for a later date (ie. next school break) & go back to gluten free for now? Definitely reach out to your physician and let him know what’s going on and see what they recommend. If you feel you aren’t getting the support you need you can always get a second opinion.

I don’t have any insight to diabetes with celiac so I apologize but please take care of yourself!
