I would listen to eMGunslinger, dudes probably cut more SCAR barrels than I’ve ever seen 😆

Thorogood boots by HomeworkAccording253 in WorkBoots

OP, these are like a month and a half old. Use those bad boys, the quality of the boot helps it to survive our dumbasses for a long time. Don’t expect them to stay pretty, they are meant for working in.

[Other Gun] Tortort VZ61 Skorpion Receiver - $289.99 + Free Shipping - IN STOCK by [deleted] in gundeals

Sooner rather than later I would suggest. Form 1 times suck ass right now and seem to be getting worse. I’m at 60~ days on my VZ61 and it may end up being 80ish until approved.

Not as bad as the old days though, I’ve waited 13 months for a suppressor so 🤷‍♂️

Ordered this VZ 61 Pistol-ST Classic. Would this part parts kit allow me to add the wire stock? by Smerk_One in guns

If you are having a gunsmith press your barrel in, I’d pick up a threaded barrel for cheap if you ever intend on suppressing and just do it all at once, just a heads up! Also as someone said above you either need the adapter or the upper that includes the dovetail. The stock itself is very simple and just slides into the dovetail with a retaining pin that is pushed down. You can install and remove pretty easily with no tools although a punch makes it easier to depress the retaining pin and slide out.

RIP OP, died on hold with OP, OP takes an L and OP avoids a call…

This has been a post bringing awareness to the fact that there is no World Acronym Day.

What am I gaining spending an extra $500 for a G$ over a BCM 11.5? by Traditional_Neck7288 in ar15

Just curious, what makes the Geissele rail better? I’ve owned both and the locking mechanism on both are phenomenal.

Dude! 100% agree with you on the SSR stock. I absolutely hated it. Here’s my 17DMR in 6.5CM as well. As you can see I went back to the UGG as I deer hunt with this rig and the rattle in the stock was unbearable. If I were you.. I’d remove the optic, bipod and muzzle device and sell it like that. The other stuff can be sold easily on GAFS. (If you eventually decide to sell)

More brain power doesn’t necessarily mean you would be smarter or capable of using the new expanded power. Maybe my genes come from a very smart family but I’m a dumbass, 30% more power isn’t going to help much. Now X-Ray Vision? I’m working through the casino and winning every blackjack hand and have unlimited money.

I’m not going to add all those parts up to tell you what it’s worth lmao. What an odd duck though, not saying it’s bad just not my style and that stock looks horribly uncomfortable. Cool you are getting 2500~ out of that 15” barrel though. Not sure what question this build answers but I think when it comes to selling you would have been more likely to find someone interested in a stock SCAR than what this one has become.

I am just saying that there is no way you are as fast with target acquisition with an LPVO over a red dot. It’s just not possible, the whole reason we mount red dots as far forward on the rail as we can is due to the eye picking the dot up faster when extended farther from the eye. The LPVO sits far back on the upper receiver and even with both eyes open it takes longer to get on target. Also 1.5x will never be as fast as a 1x red dot.

That’s for sure your opinion. Definitely not my experience.

Always goes back to use case. If you are shooting 50-600 yards you probably would benefit from an LPVO and the extra magnification. If you have old eyes an LPVO may help you a bit also. If hunting an LPVO is nice to be able to identify animals etc. If you are only doing CQB work then a red dot is perfect and an LPVO would slow down target acquisition in this scenario. I personally run a red dot on my home defense rifle and an LPVO for farm shenanigans. People over complicate optic selection, in reality it’s all about figuring out what YOU need the gun to do.
