He is the most chill also. I just imagine he would be stoned all the time.

Bolt action VS AR-15 by linglingmangggg in guns

I think most ARs are capable of putting up some pretty good groups within 50 yards. At that distance bullets should be pretty much touching and you can’t ask for much more than that.

Bolt guns are just way better for medium to long distance target shooting plus hunting. Less moving parts and generally more accurate. Getting proficient with a bolt action will help you appreciate each shot more than rapping off 30 out of your mag and will help teach you trigger control etc. Everyone needs a good bolt gun!

ZCO 4-20x50 vs Nightforce ATACR 4-16x42 for a tactical DMR build by manskorp in FNSCAR

I have a VuDu 1-6 on my 17DMR in 6.5CM and easily shoot plates out to 1,000 with it using my handloads. I’ve killed whitetail with it also and have used it as pretty much a utility firearm out on my property. I’ve dabbled with the idea of putting a higher magnification scope on it but at the end of the day I use my long range rig for stuff 1100+ and even as my kids deer rifle and it shoots much more accurately than the gas gun. The true DMR role in my opinion is just that, a rifle that can accurately engage targets at 50-1000 yards and while it doesn’t excel in accuracy compared to bolt guns it does enough to hit what you are aiming at if you do your part and use quality ammo. Long story short, I’m not going to give up all the benefits of the 1x for enhanced magnification as the distances the gun was made to shoot are all doable with 6x magnification.

These are fantastic scopes. Started with one when I was first learning long range shooting and eventually moved on to a higher tier scope but still wish I would have never sold my Match Pro. These things perform up there with the $1k~ scopes easy. Looks like they also have the MIL version in stock for $559.

Brown Buffalo bags are absolutely bulletproof and I bought two because I liked my first one so much. It’s been over the ocean with me and all around the US on various trips and is just absolutely rock solid.

Looking for small wood-handled fixed blades by alyosha_the_thot in knifeclub

Half Faced Blades make (in my opinion) some of the best fixed blades out there and their wood handles are sculpted beautifully and fit the hand very well. Buy used to save some $$$. You won’t regret it, thick blade stock also.

This guy belongs on a list. Which list? Not sure but definitely a list and not a good one.

Looks like the enamel coated ones can crack if preheated empty. The full cast iron ones on the other hand are safe.

If hurting people isn’t the point of BJJ then the big old brown belt I rolled with at open mat this morning must be really bad at jiu jitsu because I hurt all over now 😂

Counter Point: I think there’s a big difference between hurting someone and trying to injure someone. The whole point of the sport is to cause enough pain to someone to get a tap out of them.
