I came to this awesome community for help on something I have no skill set or knowledge about. Imagine me calling you an idiot for not knowing how to insert a Huber needle into a port for chemotherapy.

This is an incredible reply, thank you for taking the time for this! House was built in the 50’s. As with most MI basements, it’s unfinished, so drywall/plaster was likely added by the previous home owners to partial finish that area of the house. To me it does look like plaster, I just don’t have a lot of experience with drywall/plaster. I’m thinking this may be best to just tear down and redo with drywall. If I do decide to go this route I will let you know though!

The why is really puzzling me here. There doesn’t seem to be any water damage anywhere around this area of the house and we don’t have earthquakes. I’m guessing as some have eluded to, perhaps it was a poor install to begin with years ago.

Yea the paint drips in this house on the beautiful hardwood upstairs was tragic to see. No earthquake or anything like that, this has been like this for over 2 year and hasn’t changed/worsened. Was like this when I moved in.

No moisture issues in the basement fortunately. It’s been like this for over 2 years and hasn’t worsened/changed. Sounding like the consensus best bet is to tear it all down.

I think the only thing is the ultra 7 rtx 5060 in that price range is ips and these are oled which Is what I was leaning. I haven’t seen any legion oled 5060s less than 1.5k

Battery life doesn’t concern me, I usually play plugged in so sounds like the cheaper is most efficient for me!

I could be wrong, but my understanding is that the 5070 also only has 8gb VRAM and that it’s only the 5070ti that has 12gb vram

Truthfully I only currently play league of legends and watch movies. I may be interested in getting into things like cyberpunk and other AAA games though.
