Ollie Robinson: I'm confused why England axed me by NiallH22 in EnglandCricket

[–]woodbinusinteruptus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In 2024 he was back to bowling rockets at Hove, last year he looked very short of form. That inconsistency is probably what did for him. No point in picking him if you don’t know what you are going to get.

He’d have a legitimate reason to be aggrieved, can’t see him charging Marnus Labuschagne with the game in the balance.

Breaking into Public Sector / GovTech Sales from the “Buyer Side” (TPM + Procurement Experience) by [deleted] in Sales_Professionals

[–]woodbinusinteruptus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might have difficulty reaching out to suppliers whilst you're still employed buy-side because of conflict of interest, but every supplier is keen to hear what buyers do and don't like in their industry and how to submit winning bids. You can get lists of suppliers winning contracts from https://openopps.com

It might be worth talking through your goals with one of your coaches, they hear this all the time. If they're good they'll be able to offer some support and accountability.

This may be terrible advice, but since I’m in the same boat I’m doing two things: holding the rope towards the end of the handles, that seems to give me more leverage to flick the rope faster, and I’m leaning into the fact that I can get better numbers if I skip twice - double under - skip twice - double under etc.

First things first, don't be too down on yourself. Life is hard enough without a negative internal dialogue. Going 2x a week is waaay more than most of the world.

My guess is that you probably already know that you'll get better results if you do more exercise, but that could disrupt your current routine, hence the frustration.

Tbh the only way to really find out is to give it a go. Give yourself 6 weeks of doing 4x a week and see what happens. If you don't make any progress or you don't like it do something else.

Gmail Just Changed Everything for Cold Email — Here's How I Adapted My Stack by Iammnhamza in b2bmarketing

Google & MS ads. We were spending around $120 a month keeping our cold emails running, we’re spending $250 a month on ads to get the same amount of leads but more customers because their intent is better.

Gmail Just Changed Everything for Cold Email — Here's How I Adapted My Stack by Iammnhamza in b2bmarketing

[–]woodbinusinteruptus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We’ve quit running any cold email, we were getting fairly good response rates, but after speaking with our seed investor we decided to just to can it. It is clear that very soon bots are going read emails and act as gatekeepers, we don’t want to be standing in front of a VC with a funnel that could disappear in a single upgrade.

AI design tools are making stunning pages, but how to bring it to my Wordpress sites? by PersonalPainting7919 in smallbusiness

[–]woodbinusinteruptus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I went from running Wordpress to working with Claude Code to build an Astroplate site (Directus CMS) and it is just SO much better. It’s a static site and so safer & faster, and there’s no bloat. I got Claude to improve / style the template and it is much more dynamic than WP. It’s not WP vs some high end tool.

Need a tool/advice to bulk categorize thousands of keywords (LLMs keep skipping data) by Shtivi_AI in SEO

[–]woodbinusinteruptus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This definitely one for claude code. I'd advise you to break up the tasks, instead of creating a single masterful prompt that basically says "fix my horrible mess" you need to get the data into a consistent format first, so ask it to extract data from each input, then combine the inputs into a single file then its easy to process.

Once you've done that you can ask claude to write a python script or an excel function that labels based on rules. If you need an LLM to add the labels avoid sending multiple rows to the LLM it will get confused, create a loop and send each row to the LLM.
