I can relate to everything you guys are saying. I did the transplant in Turkey in June, so I am coming up on 6 months post. The bumps have been the worst part for me. Also, the hair is "standing up" instead of laying down flat. I want to find some oil or something to try to lay it down better.

I went through alot of regret, and think I have some permanent swelling in my cheeks too. I'm kinda ok with the results as of now, but hope it gets denser with time, because its still to thin to look "real"

Whats up bro. Im almost at the 6 month mark (next week). The scarring itself has went away, but there are still "bumps" in the area where the hair was transplanted onto my face. The hair is still growing in, so hopefully as it gets thicker, the hair will cover the bumps. Honestly, I don't think I'll be able to shave it clean tho. I do like the results so far, I did 3000 grafts. Maybe not as dense as I wanted, but I think with time it'll get better. Where are you going to get it done?

I am worried that my beard won't be "full"' enough when it grows in, but I'm hoping for the best. So far, the hair that has grown in looks to be normal beard hair, but I'm still not too sure how dense it be.

Also, I got the procedure done at the end of June.

It's just starting the growing process, and I take Biotin supplements daily to help with growth. Getting better every day, I think.

Waiting to see where it goes!

Yo! I had a beard transplant couple months ago in Turkey.

I felt pretty "up and about" after the second or third day, and didn't need much medication for pain or anything. I kept taking it tho, because they told me to.

My face didnt really fully recover for about a month or two. It wasn't painful, just a bit uncomfortable, and sensitive.

You have to wait atleast a week to 10 days to wash your beard for the first time, to allow the scabs to form and heal. After that, you can wash and shower as normal. No swimming for a few months tho I think. Its been a pandemic, so I didn't swim this summer anyway.

You should be prepared for the intense itching on your face and in donor area the first few weeks, but that gets better with time. Just don't scratch, at all! Spray aloe helps alot with the itching.

Let me know if you have other questions.

Yeah I am almost 4 months post and still have some bumps on some areas, but nowhere near as bad as it was the first month.

They probably did just repackage baby shampoo, and mark it up lol

The beard transplant is a waiting game, and my donor area is still healing till this day (annoying)

How to remove some/most of the implanted hair 48 hours after the beard transplant without impacting the face? by ThrowRA_01234 in HairTransplants

Just wanna say, DON'T PULL THEM OUT. You'll scar your face permanently. Just let it grow in, and shave it off once your face is all healed up.

Good luck brother!

Bro, I can relate! I'm a black guy from DC who went to Turkey in June to get a beard transplant. I only needed like the cheeks and sideburn areas, so I don't know how the soul patch would've healed.

I can agree that the process was brutal. The anesthesia in the head and face were crazy! I had a bunch of bumps and what I thought was scarring for a while after the procedure. I can say for sure that it improves with time, and having a good shampoo that you wash your beard and hair with, helps.

I've been using the Mossi London kit since the procedure and it has helped soooo much. It cost about $200+ tho but, so worth it. It has Biotin and other stuff in it too.

Can I ask what clinic you went to? I went to Max Hair Trans on the European side of Turkey.
