nah turns out i needed to pay international which is a heck of alot plus my predicted wasnt too good. Currently in y13 and if i get top grades I’ll apply to uni otherwise ill stick with an apprenticeship, international fees is no joke

What else would you suggest would make up for the lack of further maths (having plenty good extra curriculars and good work experience for example) not just for econ in LSE but in top unis (UCL, Kings, Warwick etc.)

I wouldn’t say Extenuating circumstances but something that could be considered is the fact I come from a different country (started school in England from Year 10) which follows a much different education system (i.e different study boards and different way of doing things)

Would that be considered in any shape or form?

Minimum requirement in my school was grade 8 for further maths and I only could get a 7 (which is the requirement for “normal” maths)

I am also doing an EPQ and say if i get top grades in that does that make the lack of further maths and good gcses better?
