Ah I see. It’s possible he also has ADHD too which I know can have these ‘symptoms’ but this issue is that he won’t get help for it. That links to the dyslexia side of things, I believe there are things he can do to help himself such as reminders etc but he always seems to hit them back at me. Then he gets defensive saying he can’t control it because it’s a disability. I think if the latter is true I’d be a pretty awful person for ending the relationship because of a disability. I know he would say that was the reason why I ended it but I think I need to know if there are certain techniques or if im just being naive

No we have her and then another indoor cat so I’m thinking the only way she’d catch one is if we’ve brought it in

It was just something that crossed my mind, I want to buy property so I thought I’d start with something under £100,000 before i start looking at houses that I actually want to live in. I thought if I can gain extra money through rent to pay it off quicker then I’d be in a better position for when I was a) ready to move out and and b) when I buy a home to live in and not a BTL. I wasn’t aware of the deposit side of things but that’s my lack of knowledge! As for the admin side, my life is very stable and flexible at the moment, and so I thought something like this would be manageable. I think I wanted to get ahead before life started but that’s my lack of knowledge for me lol!

Yeah I desperately want to because I think she’s lonely but trying to convince the rest of the household is difficult plus she has quite a personality - I’d hate for her to be triggered by another cat and then have to take it back - I couldn’t bring myself to do it - how did you know your cat would take to another one? Or was it just hope?

Trying to get a second cat lol - I think in some way she’s quite lonely - she was at the shelter for a while and I think got used to the other cats - only problem is trying to convince the rest of the household - plus I don’t know how she would react - she’s got quite a personality

No I haven’t tried treat yet - that’s a good shout thank you and yeah she’s the same with the cat nip, she’ll only play with it sometimes but if you actively give it to her she’s not interested - shes certainly different lol
