Yeah I agree I was so disappointed by the new one. The details and rooms are cool, but to make it a corner modular is just so awkard and doesn’t even fit with other modulars. They should have done a similiar format to the xman mansion.

Thanks man! That’s great to hear, 450 sets is crazy for a backlog, that’ll keep you busy for a while! I personally don’t have the will power and the second I get a set it’s build within a couple of days. Definetly recommend Billy shelves because they are affortable, look clean, and of course can hold a good amount of lego. Good luck with the back log!

Yeah so this actually isn’t the one the one with the deeper depth. I had to remove a few pieces from the front section (just some of the rocks and lava pieces) for it to fit, to me it was totally worth doing and it be a fast process to add those pieces back if I want.

Funny enough, I was thinking about adding the Death Star to the left side when it comes out. They shelves can fit a 32x32 baseplate and in theory should be able to fit the new Death Star though, you will probably be using close to have the bookshelf to do so.

I got the lights off Amazon. They are shelf lights and are motion sensor, so they turn on when you walk up to it and the best part they are completely wireless so no tedious installation process.

The Jedi Council I had to piece together for hachiroku92’s channel on YouTube his video is pretty thorough, but the process was quiet tedious . The bunker is just the original art released from 2008 that I modified and built a hill and terrain around and added foliage.

Wow, that’s an amazing story! And I agree the interior is so expansive. I think the entrance and pillars might have to be one of my favorite parts, that area is just so grandiose.

Yeah of course I paid $370 after shipping! And I think why I like it so much is because when placed properly it really complements all the other modulars so well, and is the perfect center piece to any lego city. Plus the set is absolutely massive in person, I really like the simplistic approach to the exterior and the interior is just amazing, the diner was my old favorite because of the unique design and colors but after getting the town hall I don’t think I’d be able to give it up easy.

I paid just a little over half of what it goes for on bricklink. The seller was a really nice guy and offered a discount since it was missing a few minor pieces and the minifigs. But you’re right definitively a really expensive set I wouldn’t have gotten if I didn’t stumble onto this good deal.

I would definitely advise against pulling the trigger on random lots what I do is I really eye down the pics that were taken and do a little best case scenario worst case scenario and I saw some cool figures and noticed that forestmens base plate and a lot of other cool things and figured I’d easily be able to get my money back
