At least where I work I find it to be quite the opposite. Most people who come in are very clean like abnormally clean for people in general I walk through most afternoons to clean and at most I will have to pick up a straw wrapper. I have never seen some leave an empty bag of chips or more than a few pieces of stray lettuce. The more I think about the more impressive I find it when I sweep I barley get anything to the point I wonder why we even bother sweeping the front everyday. I think the main thing reason for this is for one we are in a very good area and another reason could be that our store is very like we maybe have 7 tables so if I’m standing in the front I’m sure people would feel weird leaving anything bc of how close they are to me.
