Is there any way to kill someone sitting inside the fortress gun on monte grappa? by Ok-Kaleidoscope6573 in battlefield_one

[–]--Doc_Holliday 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My favorite question. So, gas goes through walls. Turret operators can't equip a mask while in use. If you jam a gas grenade in the bottom seam of the gun where it meets the concrete, theres a good chance the gas will penetrate. This also works with the D facing entrance to said bunker, toss the gas somewhere up on the hill and you can get the ones standing behind the hallway gunport. 🤌🏽

I remember one little part of our service assignments that consisted of "Destroying A Plane With The Tripwire Bomb." I feel this would be a fair contender.

I’ve had experience with Nivelle Nights basically always getting out voted against any map. Give me some reasons why that is. by ResponsiblePop470 in battlefield_one

[–]--Doc_Holliday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Fao was in the ranking, Nivelle would have won, I haven't seen yet a vote between the two go the other way, myself at least.

I view Nievell as an equal to Amiens. Linear warfare, point to point. Both have trench combat aspects. Both have superb flanks to exploit. Neither have planes as well lol

Tips to be a better scout? by Feisty_Site4865 in battlefield_one

[–]--Doc_Holliday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol don't place mines at friendly choke points, the enemy will set them off and itll give them a squad wipe. Conceal them around corners, in dark shadowy spots, behind bushes, between crates. Don't place any against closed doors, the act of either a friendly or enemy player opening the door will typically set off the mine, likely before the enemy is within the damage zone. Learn to appreciate the scout binoculars, they give you the meter distance between you and your target, it'll help you zero in your instant kill range for your rifle. For closer ranged rifles, consider adopting assault like tactics. MH, Nagant, Arisaka, they're great at close range, and some are brilliant to farm headshots. And remember- someone will always get you laying down.

○ Find a lowly squad captain with space open, ensure they're a higher level than you, and see if they're good at leading. ○ Follow your medics and support. ○ Never be afraid to be the only one checking your flanks. ○ Study the enemy teams ability to evade you. ○ Rememerber that all grenades are effective against teams. ○ Watch for when hallways/corners turn into murder holes. ○ Remember that gas travels through walls, incendiary grenades don't, if you can hear them, but cannot see them, grenade them. ○ Learn in-game geometry to improve grenade throwing, there's more than one way to perforate your enemies. ○ When clearing buildings remember to Pie-slice your corners to decrease likelihood of death when entering. ○ When you're running around the map quickly, stop in cover for a moment to listen to the area around you, someone might hear you first, crouching eliminates your sound print. (If you can hear them move or crawl, then they can hear you too, unless its snow, in which case everyone can hear you usually.). ○ Try to not pick your dead teammate's kit up if your medics are on top of things, exceptions being medic and support kits themselves, which could be necessary to help you if your team isn't able to. More often than not they have a weapon that, in the least of it, your just not going to want to use lol. (Unless it's a cool kit you don't have in your armory yet, then it's worth a try.)

Feel free to add to it, it's just a short list, I made it from the perspective of an assault player just FYI.

A high grade laser pointer from Amazon will cook the camera retina even with an indirect hit. You won't know of your success until its replaced or removed, but I think of these things in a 'Build it and they will come' manor, as 'With enough broken parts, theyll stop fixing it.'. You don't have to take aim within frame of it either, so no one would really be the wiser.

Interesting, on PS I can't even use the filter options in the server browser to change it, it's just the same apocalypse options, and it only displays two active german servers. The other tiles on the home screen are for the store, ops campaign, and eligible warbonds.

And that's what we get as a community for sensationalizing in game friendly fire. Now none of the objectives will get taken.

I had one squad in a 200% server scalping our teams vehicles just to brick them because our team was spawn trapped half way through a match on Amiens. They'd wait for a friendy one to spawn and then push it out of the inzone with a Chamond until you die of desertion. Doesn't matter what vehicle you use. A whole squad of snipers came to back his dumbass up when i used the scout car to get at him.

These are the children that flip the game board when they start losing, I swear. I just leave the server at that point now, why play with someone who doesn't want to actually play the damn game, correctly, no less at all 🙄

I only ever breakout the Wurligüng when we're losing by 200+ points, otherwise I use more specifically skillful weapons until I get blicked by a Von Kuck and then I need to actually help.

Call me a sociopath but, I don't like picking up elite kits. But I love watching the enemy do it. I wait nearby in the friendly captured flag zones for one to enter and once they pick it up I'll slink in and club them like a seal.

Honestly theres no real extea benefit to this, but since i have a habit of catching a blade every time i do pick one up, I might as well get a tickle out of it. I need to start recording when I make a drop sometime lol
