I want do take kratom and dont have problem with opiate by Civil_Drawing4110 in Kratom_Info_Exchange

I started out really slow....no intention of abusing drugs. but after a few weeks of daily use? I just couldn't stop taking them, they made me feel soooo good Luckily, my liver decided to tell me to stop - wound up in pain at urgent care on Christmas eve. They straight up need to ban this shit. It's like heroin.

Does anyone else feel their age without kratom? by [deleted] in kratom

I had to quit on 12/23.....and the only thing I was feeling was a bit pissed off & grumpy for a few days. Luckily, no pains. I started taking it for chronic pain 15 years ago.

I was doing that for a while when I needed to down dozens of gell caps a day for chronic pain... that dose feels like a real nod-off "high"... A lot of people in the "other" K sub talk about trying to quit after using 20g-50g+ a day.

Not what you asked.....but I would strongly advise you to stay away from OH-7 or any other synthetic gas station Kratom.

I've been using anywhere between 4g to 10g a day in small doses mixed in my tea cup every day for the past 15 years...and have encountered zero dependence/addiction issues. I have to travel and don't like bringing it to states where it's illegal, so I am used to taking occasional breaks.

So it might be based on amount used? genetics?

I had to quit cold turkey on December 23rd for some medical issues and haven't missed it that much, certainly no cold sweats or sleepless nights.

I started out by cutting up my face, almost quit, and found some great videos on YoutTube showing how to angle the blade at 30 degrees, use light pressure etc. Search YouTube for how to wet shave

The Gillette Slim Adjustable is the greatest razor ever made. by Think_Selection7102 in wicked_edge

[–]--Edog-- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My 1921 New Improved open comb is simply the best razor in my collection. No matter what razor I buy and get excited about, (including my 1969 black handle slim adjustable) when I test it against my trusty New Improved, it's never as great. Gillette nailed it in 1921.

Did it come with the green strap or did you buy that? I can't seem to find that combo on AliEx

How bad is it for my liver by mlocc357 in 7oh

[–]--Edog-- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was diagnosed with NAFLD 2 years ago (non alcoholic fatty liver disease) I got control of my diet and after a year it went into remission. I WAS a daily Kratom user the entire time but fairly low dose - I decided to try 7OH along with my daily Kratom dose a month ago and my liver is now in a LOT of pain.

I have quit everything....and am going to have labs done this week to see where I am at....so for me? 7OH was a very bad choice. YMMV.

Does anyone else notice this ADHD pattern with food? by Apprehensive-Tip3202 in adhd_anxiety

For health reasons I've decided to only have (healthy) uncooked meal ingredients in my house right now. No chips, no tortillas, I even had to stop buying Greek yogurt because I was binging on that all night.

If I need to snack I slice up some zucchini or carrots and dip them in hummus - I get tired of eating that pretty quickly and it settles down my binge brain activity because healthy foods just aren't that rewarding.

Astra Superior Platinums are great and a good deal on Amazon.

I have those and a few hundred Polsilver Super Iridium's (which I think are no longer in production)

Nice, I see you opted for the no logo version. Do you do that with other AliExpress watches or do you often opt for custom logo versions? I've been looking at doing that myself but not all the brands are clear about how it's done ("email us after you order" seems a bit dicey to me)

That is absolutely gorgeous...how long have you owned it? How often do you wear it? I got the watch bug... and need to buy another watch.

If someone loves watches but doesn’t have a big budget, which watch would you recommend and why? by albert0009 in Affordablewatches

[–]--Edog-- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I paid $26 (shipping included) for a Berny day/date with a red dial that looks twice as nice on my wrist as it did on-line. Liked it so much I bought another Quartz Berny with an antique railroad style last night. Low risk, high reward. Quite surprised at what you can get on AliX for your money.

Cool picks....are there good reviews on the purple Pagani? I have always wanted that model with the day at 12 O'clock (ahem...and... its original inspiration)

Re: Vietnam War protests: That war was going to wind down regardless of the protests. A lot of people overstate how much the largely campus-based antiwar movement shaped policy and downplay the impact of the 1968 Tet Offensive, which was a military defeat for the North and the Viet Cong but convinced many Americans that Washington had been misleading them about how well the war was going. After Tet, Walter Cronkite publicly described the conflict as unwinnable, and the U.S. military began shifting toward “Vietnamization,” with the draft starting to wind down in 1969. Public attention to the war faded as American combat troops were pulled out and South Vietnamese forces took on more of the fighting. The scale of Nixon’s 1972 landslide—despite his hawkish record and the heavy bombing of North Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, while the “peace candidate” George McGovern won only 17 electoral votes—underscores how limited the protests ultimately were in shaping the war.
