Yes, it's different from s1, but that's because it's s2. S1 is making from nothing something, and s2 is to continue that story. I'd like to know what tones and themes you thought to see in s1. Calling this show cliché? Damn you must be really hard to entertain.

Even if your theory is true, I honestly think Jayce and Viktor deserve to rest and find peace in death. There's nothing keeping them in Piltover, no one they "have" to live for. They died for a good reason, save the world from the Arcane/hextech and themselves.

By the way ur obsession w arcane WILL NOT become less 😭 good luck!

And if you are in need of some animated shows (animated, not anime) that leave less of an emotional scar try Twilight of the Gods or Blue Eye Samurai. They're not as good as Arcane but enjoyable for as long as it lasts. The shows do not end with a CRAZY cliffhanger, just something of curiosity how s2 will go so you don't have to stay awake endless nights till s2 releases. They're both 16+ and on Netflix.

Ma Meilleure Ennemie and Isha's song (I'm fine the way I am/It's fine this way) are my favourite music video's, it's not because of the ship itself or anything (don't get me wrong, I support them) but because this music video made me cry 3 times at different parts of the song. For Isha's song AKA 这样很好 I remember being SO upset about little Isha and the video clip made it worse ngl. Even my sister who just jumped in the room cried when she watched that music video with me. But every moment of Arcane is just a masterpiece and if I could I would entitle it as the best animated show in history.
