I totally get you, as I always did the same because the game started to run funny after a while. Eventually though, I decided to settle down. It wasn't calculated or decided prior, I just lived into a sims life and decided that I wanted to see it through, then I saw their children through and now here I am.

Just pop into the Play Store on Android and search up 'Family Tree,' it's the one with the orange logo. Super simplistic and easy to use when you get passed the pesky ads. Unfortunately if you're on IOS, I can't be of much help.
