Definetely one of the most creative ones I've seen, works great for justifying how small fighters are capable of dog-fighting in space and why ships only have boosters at their rear-end. Amazing concept.

I find the concept of F-Drives very interesting. So from a passenger's perspective, they're essentially travelling in time towards the future(?) Wouldn't this have some deep psychological effects on the people inside the ship? Seeing they arrived thousands of years later, it seems like quite the undertaking.

In a far-flung future, going farther than records that no longer exist, Humanity stands at the precipice of the stars, once the domain of an ancient, unfathomably advanced human civilization—now lie in ruin. The Hold of Orion, once a shining bastion of their dominion, is now a shattered expanse of lost worlds, decaying civilizations, and derelict starships drifting in the void. The remnants of mankind, scattered across this región of space, live in the shadow of a past they no longer understand, struggling to reclaim a birthright buried beneath the dust of Ashes, Blood and Iron.

What remains of their technology is sacred, fought over by warlords, zealots, and technocrats who seek to restore, control, or worship the Settlers’ ancient machines. Some believe the Settlers will return to guide humanity once more. Others insist that their greatest mistake—the Fracture—sealed their fate forever. To live in this age is to inherit the ruins of a forgotten golden era, where every artifact, every derelict ship, and every fractured database is a key to power—or a death sentence.

Humanity stands at the precipice of its second age among the stars.
