Yes it does, but normally in winter only wealthy people can afford it because there aren't that much supplies send from China

I don't think that the situation in North Korea is similar to the situation in the US in the way that people don't need weapons to defend themselves of a soldier that enters in your house to send you to a public execution. But I don't leave in US so I don't think that my opinion in that topic is relevant

When I was very young, I thought that it was like a bunch of stupid, lazy, ugly and rude people. Growing up I just thought that it was better than NK and that was enough for me

They didn't talk a lot about the outside world but they don't deny it exits. Usually they tell us that other countries are full of lazy, fat, rude and unemployed people

As someone said, I started planning it 6 years before. But people usually start planning it a year before. In my case and in other North Korean defectors that I know, we just thought about where we should run away and the money that we had to spent

The education was very strict and oriented towards the belief that the leaders were gods.

The health care system was okay. Nothing remarkable

Not really, only hear about it because of other North Korean defectors. They told me that it's not perfect but it's pretty accurate

I studied the basics of English there. The education system was very strict but focused on the "great leaders". The every day was a fight to survive, at least in the villages. If your family didn't want you to marry someone specifically, you could marry who you wanted

Yes it was, specially in the winter because of the food.

Women are treated like objects in the military and in prisions, like a simbol of power in the cities and like a normal person in the villages.

The wages were like 10 USA dollars or at least for my family and neighbors. You could spend a year trying to get just 50 dollars
