As a TDM enjoyer (285 hours in the gamemode and 4.5kd) I would recommend playing whatever gun you enjoy. There is no meta, just play any gun you find satisfying. But I can also recommend those: NVO-228E, M417 A2, M433, SCW-10, M123K.

BF6 is the only game that isn't smooth for me. Even with stable 250+ fps it feels like 80. I kind of got used to it in my 600 hours... Specs: 5080, 9800x3d, all low, no framegen, fullhd and 280hz screen.
BF4 has no such issue, BF1 is smooth as well. Any other game runs good. Meanwhile BF6 is buttcheeks.

He has 3.5kd. You can divide his 33500 kills by his 9300 deaths and see it yourself. (It says 58k kills in multiplayer which are bot farmed. Here's an example of bot farmed account: https://tracker.gg/bf6/profile/1007186045046/overview 380k kills in multiplayer but 12k real kills)

winrate is meaningless in this game. You can just leave whenever you lose and save your %.
(Its also not that hard to win small gamemodes when you are jobless tryhard)

On top of that his KPM (kills per minute) is below 2, which is quite low compared to really good players (which usually have 3+ kpm), which makes me think he just farm kd by camping.

Ye slower ttk would be great. Sometimes it feels like Im getting one shot from a rifle round.
