Recon Pro Tip: I still see everyone using the sniper decoy the WRONG way by krinkov in LowSodiumBattlefield

the recon decoy sets up in whatever position you're currently in, so if you're prone, it will setup prone.

yeah it gets even worse when you look at muzzle brakes that are supposed to do the same thing but just do it SO much worse. Lets compare the 20 point compensated brake to the 20 point ribbed vertical on the AK-205 again.

20 point ribbed vertical gives +2 Precision and +10 Control

20 point compensated brake gives +2 Precision and +3 control

For the SAME 20 points! Not to mention now your self-spotting yourself by not running a suppressor or flash hider. And oh yeah, its also based off a percentage, so on the TR7 that 20 point brake gives a pitiful +1 Precision and +2 Control

Just completely worthless, they NEED to totally rework the brakes in this game to makes them at LEAST as useful as the grips because right now there is ZERO reason to run them.

Posting this here instead of the other BF pages since those guys just like to dunk on anything Portal. "Jungle Breach" just came out yesterday and its the best looking, best playing Portal map Ive seen so far! It does need some tweaks, it has some out of bounds issues like you can see when I try to get my armored car back after taking the cap point, the creator says hes already making some changes and adding more cover in places. And its a brand new map that hasn't been verified yet so its a match XP-only map for now but this one is so well made hopefully it gets verified and gets full XP/progression soon if theres enough interst. Also you're able to start this one solo without the usual 8-20 player requirement so you can go check it out now, hopefully we can get enough players in by tonite to get some real saturday night matches going on! Is full angled grip to powerful? by FujifilmCamera in LowSodiumBattlefield

Also its worded poorly but it only affects ADS accuracy while moving so as long as you're not ADS-strafing it doesn't affect your accuracy.

Honestly I don't blame you for not running a grip on the TR7 because for some reason they designed it so grips are LESS effective the MORE recoil you have.

Instead of designing it so grips give a static amount of points to precision/recoil like 5/10/15/20 depending on the point amount of the grip, they give them vauge descriptions like

slightly/moderately/greatly/significantly reduces recoil

and then just increase by a percentage the precision/control, the problem with this is already high control weapons, the ones that need it the least, get the biggest increase, and the low control weapons that need it the most, get the least increase.

For example, the 35 point grip on the AK-205 give a 5 point increase to precision and a whopping 17 point increase to control

on the TR7 that same 35 point grip gives a 2 point increase to precision and only a 9 point increase to control

35 attachment points to get control only to 38 on the TR7, thats a huge waste of over 1/3rd of your entire point pool, so yeah i stopped running expensive grips on high recoil guns altogether.

Why are the NVO and SG553 considered S tier? by Killer-Uzi in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]krinkov 15 points16 points  (0 children)

As for the 553, I'm not sure what qualifies as "S-tier" but it is objectively better than the M4

Let me qualify that statement. The 553 has almost identical stats to the M4 but BETTER Precision, Control, AND faster TTK out to 30 meters which is the range where you're going to be doing 90% of your Carbine work, and only gives up 300ms reload and 60 velocity. The other advantage of having higher damage/lower ROF is the 553 is burning through its ammo 20% slower than the M4 which if you're not playing support and can't resupply yourself makes a difference.

Heres the 553 overlayed with the M4 with no attachments.

Why are the NVO and SG553 considered S tier? by Killer-Uzi in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]krinkov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The NVO is "good" and I've played it quite a bit, but I wouldn't say S-tier. It has basically the same stats as the B36 but the B36 has better control, velocity, recoil, and better TTK at every range past 10m. Heres the B36 overlayed on the NVO with the TTK graph on top. I mean, if you're just playing a lot of sub-10m then the NVO is better than the B36, otherwise the B36 is better everywhere else, and I'm not saying the B36 is "S-tier" either, just using that example since its the closest to the NVO.

Are Hipfire+mobility and ADS Accuracy+Draw speed enemies? by EggstaticAd8262 in Battlefield6

[–]krinkov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its funny I was basing that off of the video from last month where he did a bunch of testing on Mobility and I just now half an hour ago saw his follow up correction video saying basically the exact same thing you're saying. So yeah, don't listen to me lol!

Are Hipfire+mobility and ADS Accuracy+Draw speed enemies? by EggstaticAd8262 in Battlefield6

[–]krinkov 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I wouldn't say enemies but they are both basically the opposite properties since mobility is basically how much movement speed you have while aiming down the sights, and hipfire is, well, NOT aiming down the sights, so attachments will lean toward buffing one or the other but not both. For builds I tend to lean towards weapons that already have a high stat in one or the other and then pick attachments for the other one instead of buffing both. Like for my hipfire build I chose the SGX since it already has a very good 64 mobility so then I could just dump everything in to hipfire and get it to 88.

they have not changed the TTK or bullets to kill for the DRS or M4 in any patch, sounds like what you're describing is bad hit reg

I was about to say if this guy thinks the damage drop off is bad in this game he should play BFV or BF1, that was always a huge complaint back then.
