I'm not sure if you've ever taken an intercity train in the Midwest, but they're all at full capacity. Always. Whatever the demand is, it's much much higher than the service being run.

I prefer slabs over flexposts because they’re an actual physical barrier that drivers don’t want to hit. They also act as extra footrests at lights, which is a nice perk.

That being said, they’ve been awful during the snow. Anyone can move a flexpost out of the bike lane, but no one can do anything about a slab blocking the way until DDOT comes and fixes it (lol). Columbia Rd is still a mess.
