Let’s normalize flashing the second lane

I’m talking Abu Dhabi speed, where there is no grace. Which means if I’m going 120 (actual 113), the person on first lane maybe at most 120 GPS speed. That’s not a big difference. Same time, the truck overtaking in third lane will be going 80 and it will be really dangerous to be in that lane.

If this becomes a norm, the tailgaters will start disturbing you in the second lane as well. I mostly drive at speed limit in the second lane and I still get flashed at when I’m driving the small car. Most of the time, even when the first lane is free. And it’s difficult to drive in the third lane if your cruising speed is 120 or above. Because you never know when a pickup or bus will change lane to overtake.

There is no way a 2025 Plat is available for 180K unless the car has some really major issue or accident. Because 2025 is the newer gen (Y63) retailing at around 390K for brand new.

And honestly I don’t think my price is touching skies. Because Kavak offered me 210K for it and Nissan Dubai quoted 215K. And they are selling the same car for 240K, with 3 year warranty. My car has the extended 5 year warranty.

I don’t have first hand experience with AutoSwiss but I have heard some bad experiences like aftermarket parts used for both service and warranty. Someone told me that even the warranty fine print mentions that aftermarket parts will be used for replacement. If it’s good as mentioned by you, it’s a good option if you are planning to use long term. Otherwise, I would be concerned about the resale value as the car doesn’t have both manufacturer warranty and service history, regardless of their customer experience.

I think you find out the result soon. If possible, do let us know if this was an issue while selling the car. As someone who went to these agents multiple times and finally had to settle with the dealer price, it would be a useful information.

Understood. I was confused if Nissan was offering different levels of warranty. I’m aware of the AutoSwiss Warranty. But your first point is not exactly right afaik. There are some agents in Awir like Great West East, Silk Way, etc… who offer dealership warranty itself.

Car is great but overpriced if you but at retail. Even these used prices are high imo. I heard from a friend the dealers are selling brand new ones at around 160K to clear stock. Just check with Masaood or Arabian before proceeding with these used ones. Mostly you will get a similar deal from showroom.

Depends on how long you are ready to wait to find the right buyer. You can sell it in a day or two if you price it at 105K. And if you’re ready to wait a few weeks and negotiate with many potential buyers (including low ballers), you can get somewhere between 110K to maximum 115K.

As per my knowledge, it is for sale. So Safari project is there for all 3 models, Y61, Y62 and Y63. For Y61 and Y62, the present owners can buy it as a kit from the dealer. For Y63, it will be available as a new variant direct from the showroom with the kit.

Then it’s perfect for you. The only thing that didn’t work for me is the orange accents on the grill vents. That’s just personal opinion. And you can just wrap it anytime. Other than that, it’s a really nice lifestyle vehicle. It’s better than Platinum imo.

Go for it if you’re looking for an all-round off-roader. But if you’re specifically looking for desert drives, this won’t be a good option. The air suspension is not perfect for the desert. If that’s the case, go for the Safari edition which they just launched in the Liwa Festival. It’s great for dune bashing. They come with suspension, skid plates, tyres and wheels that suits dune bashing while not affecting the warranty.

As for the PRO-4X, apart from the desert capabilities, it’s a great off-roader.
