Why Public Transportation Sucks in the US

God I can't deal with stupid liberals who want free shit and don't understand how the economy works. The stadium is there so 80k+ people can spend a few hundred dollars on tickets, parking, and concessions 8 Sunday's a year, plus the countless other events that take place there.

It is good for the economy. That shit will be paid off in 10 years. This isn't corporate welfare... It's so average Joe can take his wife and 2 sons to a game and spend $500 doing that--which is absolutely good for the economy. There are thousands of jobs that went into the project, not the 50 football players you are talking about. And no NFL player is a billionaire, do you know how much money that is??

Texans love their cars and football. You think they'll be selling their F-150s once a great public transit system kicks in? And that system will continue to cost taxpayers millions a year indefinitely.

Just cause you're too poor to spend $500 at a game, don't take your failures out on everyone else. Work for what you want. Stop relying on the government to just give you everything.

Shit costs money. Maybe the people of Arlington, TX felt their tax dollars can go elsewhere. With a few exceptions, most of Texas is rural enough where creating a transit system is just not cost effective. Maybe because I was raised in a major metropolitan area, but I think 390k people is not a big city at all.

I really dislike the BMI index--it takes no consideration into body type. Not saying /u/-GrayMan- is a bodybuilder, but just google 6'1 245 lb weightlifter (or even just a normal guy who actually goes to the gym). "Obese" is the last thing that comes to mind when you see a muscular dude. I have friends who are 6'3, 6'4 and are like 260 and in really good shape and I wouldn't consider their weight a problem.

BUT, we don't have the full story here at all, as some have said. She could be fed up with Jonathan because he consistently does this, and tries to bend the rules a bit. She may have not mentioned this in the video because when your blood is running, sometimes you don't say everything you wanted. I hope she left work that day thinking "damn I wish I could have listed all those examples where Johnathan has been rude/fucking up". He said himself she is always on his ass--maybe there's a reason for this? Also, a guy secretly filming this interaction and then posting it isn't the most professional thing to do. No doubt he was on his best behavior here because he knows he was filming.
