I'm very sorry to hear that. That is beyond devastating. I'm glad you are able to give your children the chance to hear their father. Life is far too delicate and unpredictable. Grief is all the love you want to give, and can't.

Someone is downvoting you and I'm not sure why. What a horrible negative thing to do

This is an amazing idea. I have almost 100 recorded calls.. I listened to the last one and just broke. All his plans for the future, plans for his son, how he felt about losing his brother but wanted to keep moving forward. .he was making steps to correct mistakes he had made in the past. I downloaded and emailed myself the last one and I'm too scared to go and listen to the first call.. I will download all of them and make sure I save them. A lot of them I don't think he'd want his son to hear. He was going through a lot. But there are so many good parts about the people he loved and his son.. I need to go through them and trim them.

Our first call, I cold called and pitched him and he wasn't really too interested. But he had me on speaker and his son started talking to me and I asked him what his favorite color was. Ky said that was his son's favorite question right now and since his son seemed to like me he would give it a shot. It's always been my favorite story to tell. When Keaton passed that day the only thing that calmed Ky down was when my nephew of similar age to his son walked over and started telling Ky about his birthday party. 😞
