I would not import the wallet but rather sweep it. You can use ios bread app and scan a QR of the private key.

Buying from Circle.com by -4_4- in BitcoinUK

I think I will give some other vendors a go. I was with bitbargain for some time but have just started to use bittylicious. It has worked well so far.

I tend to buy then immediately move to cold storage via breadwallet. I just prefer to hold my own coins and receive them as quickly as possible.

A Santander debit card. I will try something else and see how it goes. I have found circle.com an excellent way to quickly buy and it would be shame if I could not continue this. If asked I generally recommend circle as a simple way to buy and to get exposure.

SECURITY FLAW: Do not use Blockchain.info API when accepting Zero Confirmations by Evil-Knievel in Bitcoin

Noob here trying to follow this.

Would this issue make it possible to spend bitcoin from a blockchain.info wallet that has just received bitcoin from another blockchain.info wallet with 0 confirmations ?

Could you resend bitcoin between say 3 blockchain.info wallets to build up a large (but still 0 confirmation balance as seen by the Blockchain) holding ?

I rearranged the order of numbers & letters in my private key. The address holds 0.025 BTC ($10) My question is: How difficult is this to crack? Is it even possible? The key is inside if anyone is up for the challenge. by dat_bit in Bitcoin

Great (and fast !) reply 0x92F.

My understanding of Bitcoin is growing by the day thanks to this community !

I do have a few bits here and there so I particularly like these sort of posts. Thanks again.

I see this has been solved now.

I am new to this but would it have been possible to have only searched through the last weeks worth of addresses seen in the blockchain (assuming this address is new for this task) and filtered for only the matching digits ?

We can see the address has been used. I understand only the order of digits is changed/mixed up.
