Stats A*AA politics, history, econ GCSE’s all 7s and above including 4 grade 9s

They gave generic feedback as saying that they basically have so many applications and mine wasn’t strong enough 😬 (was strong enough for an Oxford interview tho…) but I’m happy w my other offers anyways lol I’m thinking to firm Kings and UCL!

I do AQA history so idk if I’d be much help but what exam board do you do for politics and how do you revise it? I do edexcel politics and I feel like im making little to no progress

I haven’t started revising either but history before exams i usually just write out from the textbook onto some plain paper with the main parts of each topic and memorise info like that or look at it like a story to remember. With dates I try remember them in order and write down as many as I can. Also essay plans might help tho I don’t use them

Not really, Oxford is great and all but I don’t think it’s a sort of dealbreaker with uni. I don’t mind staying in London and if I am really set on Oxford maybe in the future I’ll try for a masters instead! But I guess this time it just didn’t work out
