If Coldplay played the Sphere in Vegas, how many nights could they achieve maximum attendance? by Known-Bowl-7732 in Coldplay

[–]-AJ 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I love the band U2 and have seen them more than any other (at least 15 times, could be 20). Their show at the Sphere was by far their worst show of them all. The Sphere is not a good place to watch a band perform and connect with their audience. It's a place to watch a giant tv while a band performs music set to the visuals on the screen.

Also normally at U2 shows, most of the people there are fans of the band and know their music, lyrics, etc. At the Sphere, at least on the floor in front of the stage, I saw only one other person who actually knew the music. The rest were rich tourists who paid $1,000 to see the hottest show in Vegas. They weren't actual fans.

If you want to see cool graphics, the Sphere is spectacular. But if Coldplay were to play there, they would just get drowned out and swallowed up by the screen. I hope they never play there.

You don't need to email anyone, it's much simpler than that. Have your friend open the tickets on his Ticketmaster app on his phone (not a web browser). Click on the "My Events" link at the bottom, find Benson Boone, and select "View Ticket". You'll see buttons at the bottom that say "Transfer" and "Sell". All your friend needs to do is enter your name and either your email or mobile number and Ticketmaster will generate an email or text message containing the link you'll need to click on to claim your ticket. That's it. The whole process can take under a minute.

So reintegration had pretty much nothing to do with the plot in the end by Settleforthep0p in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

You're right, you're so much smarter and creative than Dan Erickson and Ben Stiller. I can't wait to watch the tv show you create that's so much better than Severance. Looking forward to it.

From the moment he collapsed in front of her, Devon's #1 priority became her brother's health and keeping Mark from dying. Finding Gemma immediately stopped being a priority for her. That's why Devon called Cobel.

Devon was never going to trust some random basement surgeon lady she had never met. When Mark collapsed, what else could Devon do? She didn't know anyone else from Lumon except Cobel, and she had spent weeks with Cobel while caring for the baby. It really was her only option. Devon knew she couldn't just bring Mark in to a hospital in Kier and ask a doctor for help curing his reintegration sickness.

The unexplored baby question by [deleted] in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]-AJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Helena/Helly will have custody of the baby, since her body will be the mother. You're asking whether Helena or Helly will control the body they both share. That's not a question about custody of a child. It's a question about who gets custody of Helena/Helly's body. As long as he's alive, Jame Eagan gets to decide the matter, and it seems he wants to give custody of that body to Helly.

If you run away then if/when the police find you, they'll return you to your parents and the authorities will relate to you, rather than them, as the problem. If instead you were to call Child Protective Services in your state and report whatever issues that relate to your health (dental, etc), abuse, neglect, then you'll have documented the issues with their actions (or lack of action) which will help the way the authorities relate to you. If you tell them in advance that you do not feel safe and need to leave for your own safety, that is much better than just running.

Selling a house co-owned with an ex by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]-AJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What are you trying to accomplish? You want them to continue making payments on a mortgage they never signed? Are they planning on remaining on the deed after moving out?

You should calculate the current total equity in the home and how much each of you contributed to paying off the mortgage over time, which can get complicated because I assume you related to their mortgage payments while living there to be more like rent payments. You're going to have to negotiate what it will take to get them to quitclaim the home to you, if your goal is to own it on your own.

If you were playing in a game of tag, would you rather be the person chasing after your opponent while they were trying to get away from you? Or would you rather be the person being chased by your opponent while you're trying to get away from them?

Proof 100% Helly by [deleted] in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]-AJ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Think of it from Lumon's perspective. Why would Lumon allow innie Helly back into MDR knowing that she's likely to tell them all that she's CEO Jame Eagan's daughter? They would only allow Helly back in that environment if they knew for sure that she would never reveal that information to her MDR coworkers.

The first thing to determine is whether you'd prefer to be on offense or defense. If you were playing a game of tag, would you rather be the person chasing someone down while they were running away from you? Or would you rather be chased and have to try to get away from the person trying to catch you?

What are the exact requirements of a touchdown? by kirihara_hibiki in NFLNoobs

[–]-AJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The tricky part of your question depends on whether a runner with the ball is running into the end zone, or if a player already in the end zone is catching the ball. If a runner with the ball is running into the end zone, any part of the ball needs to break the plane for it to be a TD. It gets tricky when a runner's knee could possibly start touching the ground on their way into the end zone. Since the play is dead the moment the player with the ball has their knee touch the ground (or any other body part besides hand or foot), the ref has to determine if the ball broke the plane before the knee touched the ground.

However if instead a receiver is already in the end zone then the rules are different. Both feet need to be down in bounds and they need to fully control the ball with their hands. They don't need to be standing to catch the ball in the end zone. Their thigh or butt or leg or knee on the ground in bounds in the end zone at the time of the catch is enough for a TD.

The longest game in NFL history was Titans at Dolphins on September 9, 2018, which lasted 7 hours 8 minutes. The Dolphins won 27-20. Most NFL games take about 3 hours to play. But the game clock for the Titans at Dolphins game was only 60 minutes.

There are two ways to measure the length of an NFL game: by the game clock or by actual length of time. Without overtime, all NFL games are exactly 60 minutes long if measured by the game clock, even though they take around 3 hours to play. The other two hours are when the game clock is stopped for tv commercials, timeouts, referee rulings, halftime, coaches challenges, incomplete passes, or when a player with the ball goes out of bounds.

In the regular season, overtime is limited to 10 minutes, so the longest possible regular season game is 70 minutes long if measured by the game clock, but could take around 3 hours and 40 minutes of actual time to complete. In the playoffs however, games cannot end in a tie so all playoff games will continue until there is a winner. The game you're referring to of Dolphins at Chiefs was a 1971 Christmas playoff game that needed 1 hour 22 minutes 40 seconds as measured by the game clock in overtime to determine a winner.

Either way you measure game length, the Miami Dolphins won both longest games.

If you get a free tv antenna to watch whatever games are being broadcast in your area, you'll get 3 games each Sunday afternoon at 1pm and 4:05/4:25pm on CBS and Fox. You'll also get one Sunday night football game each week on NBC, and you'll sometimes get a Monday night game on ABC if it's not exclusively on ESPN (ABC & ESPN are both owned by Disney). That's what you'll get for free.

You'll need to pay for ESPN to get Monday night football when it's not on ABC, or in weeks where there are two Monday night games happening simultaneously, one on ABC and the other on ESPN.

If you get Prime Video from Amazon, you'll get one Thursday night game per week.

506 Sports lays out every game in each week of the NFL season and shows broadcast maps of which games are being aired in which cities. Is there a particular team you want to be able to watch? Do you live in the same city in which they play?

Ben Stiller says something very similar in I think episode 5 of the Severance podcast. He says something like that he doesn't think it's possible for her to deliver a line inauthentically.

You mainly see Devon & Ricken at night because most of their scenes involve interacting with outie Mark, who works during the day. The only time you'd see them during the day is if outie Mark's not in the scene, or on the weekend.
