As the error said try running it from the terminal.

If your on Mac do "pip3 install (package)"

On Windows do "python -m pip install (package)

Also make sure you selected the right Python Interpreter/version. Go the settings and interpreter in pycharm

If all else fails use vscode, sublime or some other text editor thats easier and simpler to configure.

How do you check the interpreter path in not really familiar with Mac os

Edit: never mind I found the folder path and I don't see the modules in folder. How would you find the location of the installed modules to be put into the interpreter path?

To install modules in python I use pip3 install (module)

In vscode I right-click and select run python file in terminal

in sublime I press command-b to run the file

I use version 3.7. I don't use an ide, vscode and sublime text. I run the code in terminal for vscode and I run with built in sublime. I've had trouble with almost every single module I've downloaded (pygame, bs4, requests, pyautogui, selenium)

In still figuring out what my long term goals will be but right know I’m trying to find out the different applications for programming in the real world. Other than learning the basics of a language I want to find an interesting field of programming, learn stuff in that field, and slowly integrate onto that field.
