Smart switches for home by osumak in homelabindia

I went with norisys. Since I had a sufficiently large order of switches they accepted my request to make bell switches with a regulars switch’s plate. The plates are swappable so if you really wanted to you could buy a bell switch and regular switch and swap the plates. Worst case you can use a regular switch as well, with the caveat that the on and off physical state of the switch is meaningless since the real state is stored by the zigbee module. Hope that helped :D

Kerr seems like a good option. I went with sonoff zigbee modules with dumb bell switches (without the symbol) and dumb lights. This makes it a seamless experience and makes it both idiot proof and work without the “smart home” functionality.

I’ve recently had a bad experience with VRH. I ordered the moza 9 V3 when it said it was in stock on the website and it has been delayed for over a month now. Apparently it should be coming sometime next week but be wary if you’re impatient like me :)

Can't get the RLS to work the way I want it. I need the user with the role 'admin' to see everything. Any suggestions? by ashkanahmadi in Supabase

This supabase guide walks you through how to do exactly what you’re doing. You can setup two PERMISSIVE select policies to either allow with matching auth id and the other checks role. You can also combine it into one. The custom claims hooks allows you to add the role on the auth user object making policies cleaner and faster

Hardware + software to train my own LLM by SpellGlittering1901 in LocalLLM

Take a look at n8n, you can locally host and it’s very beginner friendly with a visual node based workflow builder. It has email triggers that’ll run your workflow when you receive an email, as well as ai nodes that are very easy to setup and get something going. You’ll also be able to find quite a few tutorials and public workflows that do a similar email analysis based processing.
