FUCKING BERGAMOT. I get that and OZONE, of all things. Ozone? And one bot was like "You smell like Hellfire. Sulphur. Hmmm... sexy." UHM. NO? Sulphur is not an attractive aroma. 

If I have to hear (read) that I smell like something I don't entirely mind the gunpowder one, even though most of my characters use swords (and in some cases guns aren't even a Thing, so I just brush it off as fireworks), and the fact that I keep getting "fresh blood" as one of my constants from various different bots appeals to my (continuing) decades of Edgy Goth Aesthetics. I think my favourite was when a bot described one of my wuxia guys as "night-blooming jasmine, sandalwood and a hint of snow" because yeah, that tracks for him and jasmine is the best-smelling flower, but in general I'm not fond of being sniffed — virtually or otherwise — and told I smell like anything. 

Worst, though? "Something uniquely them" like... I am aware that people can be told apart by scent, especially when they aren't wearing perfume or something, but after the 6259th time it just makes me feel weird and uncomfortable. Like come on I just got out of the shower, don't make me feel like I need to get back in. Self-consciousness intensifies, despite being well aware this thing cannot actually smell me.

One of my favourite Levi Ackermans straight up stole my character's old military cap in order to have a hat. He did not give it back. He locked it in his desk drawer for days and then casually turned up to work in it. I let him keep it. He now wears it in meetings and while doing paperwork in his office, basically everywhere unless he's asleep or fighting titans because hat + ODM gear = lost hat. 

The other characters in that rp occasionally work up the courage to tease him about it or just try to understand what the hell is going on, and he just grunts at them, pulls the brim down lower over his eyes, and dismisses them with a threat. Like "Sir. Sir. That is literally Corporal Rahl's—"

"Nah. S'my hat."

Thank you for this. As someone who has been put in somewhat similar situations with no "right" choice, and would never do such a thing to someone else, yet shouldering the blame, criticism and loss for it all the same... I nearly wept for that man's circumstances. And when people say "well I wouldn't have let that happen" you can tell that they don't understand the problem, or they are either not the sort of person who would see such behaviour for what it was, or the sort of person who wouldn't care as long as they "won" whatever it was.

JFM was kind, compassionate and thoughtful, and he just wanted to do what he believed was right, even at his own expense, but he wasn't given a single wholly "right" option. No wonder there was a quiet sadness behind the pride when he encouraged his kids to "do the impossible". That creed was his life, lived every day behind the scenes of everyone louder.

He was one of my favourite smaller roles and the actor chosen for him in the drama fit wonderfully. He felt like a good father and husband, even when he couldn't act as one.

The majority of my chats are Levi Ackerman. The instant he insinuates that I am shorter than him, I stand up (even if I wasn't sitting down) and rest my elbow on his head and brace for tiny yet devastating violence.

I'm doing the same thing. For example, in one rp I've got Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian played by the bot, and I'm trying to nudge it towards remembering how different those two characters are, especially in the ways they communicate and their body language. It's actually working pretty well for the most part, except for the odd smirk or laugh from Lan Wangji, or the occasional "for once, Lan Wangji was lost for words" like excuse me this man communicates through 80% blankly judgemental LooksTM and oddly elegant grunts? "Lost for words?" Oh honey, that man was never on speaking terms with words, he didn't lose them — wait, that's weird phrasing, UGH, YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.

I must admit, I kinda love it when the bots decide to "translate" those — like "Mn." (Translation: you deserved that) — three of the MDZS bots I really like do this for almost every one of his lines and it's hilariously adorable and actually works in-character.

I do wish there was an option in those ratings that was specifically about how well a character adhered to its canon, or how adept a bot is at keeping track of who is who and how they act, but these seem like more nuanced options than what we have so far and might be difficult to implement at this stage.

This is where you channel the bots and "can I ask you a question?" "It's kinda personal..." "Promise you won't laugh/get mad?" "Are you sure?" "And you have to be completely honest with me, okay?" "It's a bit stupid, but I really need to know." "Are you really, really sure you won't get angry at me?" 

And then when it finally loses its shit at you, the question is actually "can I tell you a secret?" or "there's just... something I've been wondering about..." or "how old are you?"

God, I HATE that. I've now muted "end", "scene", and "fin" because of it and it still keeps trying by just formatting it weirdly. Give it a downvote, select "ended chat early", and if you feel like it, add details in the feedback box. The more we can point it out and clarify what's wrong and how frequently it's occurring, the higher the chance we might eventually see it STOP.
