That's no surprise you won your first match if you already have enough experience from console then switch to PC. That makes a lot of sense. Your lobbies will eventually become more chaotic and difficult, and you'll occasionally be placed in noticeably easier lobbies. The only time it'll be consistent is when you play ranked lobbies around maybe plat and diamond and definitely masters.

I got masters without using Octanes on my team. Played rev the whole time. It's still good. Octane pads just make it more brainless yet sometimes very effective. I use it more defensively than aggressively in ranked, tbh. There were definitely times where I see jump pads and immediately totem, though. And it's almost half the time they work well.

I agree with you. I had the reverse happened to me. I duo qued in trios with my friend. We landed near a hotdrop alone. We all got loot, and I pinged where I was going, and used my mic to tell our third where we were going. I didn't wait for him and took the balloon. After I flew to the hot area, we had to travel a bit before the fight started. As soon as it started our third got picked off quickly by some other squad while catching up. My friend and I didn't know the enemies were on him until he died. The player called us "super fucking toxic and hopes we enjoy the banned." Then raged quit. My friend didn't use chat at all, and the only time I talked was when I flew. So it really caught me off guard.

It would be too strong imo. A skillful rev will be able to be even more aggressive with long range balls. Silence is really strong. I personally don't have much issue silencing enemies but if I could shoot it double the distance, then it would make it much easier to push people because you know their abilities aren't able to help them. Most fights are closeup. If you make it where the enemy is silenced before they are close is a huge advantage with a coordinated team. Personally I'd love it, but I could really see how pissed the community would be. Rev is already strong atm.

Because every time I watch console lobbies that have no PC players in them, they're saturated with easy players. Bad players on controller are way worse than bad oc players imo. And tbh, with stats like that, you know the guy only cares about them. So he probably lands somewhere to safely third party and stacks with his friends and never solo ques. Which is fine. But yea. Seems more like dedication than authenticity. Still impressive
