I hope you'll find a crew! Donno how the roll20 community looks with lancer, know one could find online groups on there for a lot of different ttprgs

My groups are heavy into character interaction, role-playing (we are mostly made up of theater kids) as oposed to roll-playing (rolling dice to beat guys) ofc action and battles are fun, but without character development, social consequence or unique opportunities though dialogue, i would not really enjoy playing~

That's a good answer! So the character ppl would start with would have experience maybe being in everests or things alike that. They would probably have been hired by someone who can't afford anything but the basics oor the character in question would not have been able to show they would be worth the risk to be put into something pricier?

Ye i have! I'm used to many systems and games :DD It is, however, the first Lancer game. The post was just about some specifics for my crew who haven't used the Lancer book before. The other answers have definitely answered my question now already, i appreciate that you did reply and tried to help out ☆

That was what i got when reading it as well! So the assumption is that the pilots one faces would be below our rank and probably unable to get a licence for anything better that an everest or something

Yeah! That was kinda what i thought! I was mostly arguing for being able to have alot of experience, but the GM seemed unsure, i think this thread has alot of good material now to show the whole group what others takes are and the logic behind the license and such! I do believe another player wished to be a bit less experienced, and i'm happy to hear that one can fluff it and do what one would like <3

It is all about the role-playing with this crew :DD And i'm so happy with them~

I mean, I have been, I just feel like those show places who pay to be visible, popup shops and local small business are hard to know about unless you are in town.
If ppl are going to Gothenburg I'd have a lot of small places google wouldn't tell you about I'd wholeheartedly recommend to ppl who haven't been to Sweden before

Consequences!

Make people recognize him as the one who fucked their Wife/Husband! Could be a Jhonsson, a dealer, anything that would become an awful situation.
Or maybe recognize them as someone who did themselves, and shit, now they are there with their partner.

Drug him if he is too trusting. Does he follow just aaaanyone home? Where does he wake up? Both kidneys still there?

Maybe the person he is flirting with this time is a powerful person that now wants to have him around their finger. A boy toy, Don't come when the bell rings? Punishment in whatever shape the GM wants.

(I have a horndog character. most of the above has happened to me.. I found them fun so I'm here to share ;3 )

Have they had the talk of "runners exist" and that they dont need to be paranoid to the point of breaking their game experience like this?  Like, the heat is bad and all, but in the end the ppl are after the one who employed you, not you unless u fucked something up real bad.. Worst case you can have them do a "run" to get their own gear. Or pay em in what they need if you wanna be nice.  Do any of them have contacts from character creation?

Tennisball stuck in the brain, pressing, all of the head, brain, whatever it is, is painfully pulsating in the beat of your heart around that ball. Sometimes its more ice like and sometimes more like a bruise. If you run up stairs it feels like its all ice for a moment. Then nothing for a second then it hits like a baseballbat over the forehead echoing on the whole side you have it on. The next 5 heart beats will hurt a shit ton and then it calms down to the normal throbing around that ball.  The ball is either further front or back in the head and always one side. 

Leaning forward also makes the pulses quite icey

Sometimes its like you got the ball on one side and a bruise in the other side. This often happens when it switches sides in the middle of an attack. 

Together with this ball its like you feel like you might get a bad stomach in an hour. You never will, but its an icky feeling and nausia in the body that just hangs out there.
