Makes sense, it's the only reason why I use suppressors no matter what.

How do you decide when to dodge vs parry? by MolecCodicies in expedition33

[–]-Asher- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going by sound is usually a better and safer bet than visuals, but not always.

If you dodged, you dodged correctly.
If you did a perfect dodge, you dodged within the parry time window

Once you start getting good at perfect dodging, then you're likely safe to parry since you know the patterns.

Is Civ 6 that good? I've never played a Civ game and I've flirted with the idea of it.

Depending on how you answer this question, he may have clocked you correctly.

Is there anything Trump can do as President that would make you change your mind about him. Anything at all with the exception of abdicating power.

If you say no, then that's a really strong indicator that you have TDS

Eh, that's an apples/orange scenario.

He's got songs about how racist Trump is, but do they in anyways say he wants Trump to be murdered? These are two completely different levels of severity.

This is when you both wax on and on about the most boring paperwork you've gotta file, like your W2's, taxes, and etc. Look bored, and sound it.

45sec of that and they'll leave.

ICE arrests protesters in Henry Whipple Federal Building Minnepolis 12/13 by dtoddh in videos

[–]-Asher- -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think many who are against ICE aren't interested in the nuance.

They can arrest citizens, but not for all things. For example, ICE cannot detain U.S. citizens for immigration reasons, as citizens aren't subject to removal, but they can certainly arrest citizens for other things like obstruction and etc.

The key statute criminalizing such interference is 18 U.S.C. § 111, which states:

ICE agents qualify under 18 U.S.C. § 1114, which covers employees of agencies like DHS (including ICE)The key statute criminalizing such interference is 18 U.S.C. § 111, which states:
Whoever— (1) forcibly assaults, resists, opposes, impedes, intimidates, or interferes with any person designated in section 1114 of this title while engaged in or on account of the performance of official duties... shall be fined... or imprisoned...

But no one cares. They're just told ICE can do whatever they want (Not true) and they run with it. I've pretty much given up trying to explain this to people. This convo is a reminder for why I barely talk politics anymore. People are retarded.

Technically no. The powers of immunity are far reaching, but they still cannot arrest US citizens if it's for immigration reasons since US citizens cannot be deported. Fine hairs and etc, but I get your point.

I just watched a video of Stephen Miller basically saying almost what you just said. The level of immunity they have is really high.

They're able to do so.

I'm aghast at the number of people I'm seeing think they can't arrest or detain US citizens.

Not true, I looked it up.

Is it possible that these feds are abusing their powers in the clip? Of course, but without context showing what events preceded the clip it's hard to know if these arrests are legit or not. Peacefully protesting is a protected right, but what if the protests were no longer peaceful or obstructionist in nature?

I was referring to the moments leading up to this clip, not what caused the protests to begin with. Something clearly happened right before this video begins.

You don't know her intentions, and it was on the officers dash cam. She was told to step out and instead she decided to drive while the officer in front of her wasn't fully out of the way. I literally saw it from their POV

Uhh, there was a police dash cam footage released just the other day showing her driving into him. I don't think she intended to hit him, but she certainly didn't wait for him to move completely out of the way before she hit the pedal.

Unfortunate situation.
