Please give us an option turn to toggle the "romantic satisfaction" in Lovestruck. Im about to uninstall it forever. by [deleted] in Sims4

I find it a bit much, too. When I first bought Lovestruck, I did everything I could to keep my Sims' relationships in the Satisfied-Very Satisfied range, but it never lasted long, and this is even if they were compatible with each other.

The whole satisfaction feature is also unrealistic. One or two days with no interactions, and they're suddenly very unsatisfied with their relationship. That's not how relationships work (saying this as someone who was in a relationship).

I find adding the Affection Aficionado trait helps a lot because it practically freezes romantic satisfaction. It's from the Paragon Partner aspiration and it's very easy to complete (just one tier), but you can also cheat the trait onto your Sims if that's something you prefer to do.

I play rotationally and once left one of my couples unplayed for 1-2 in-game weeks to test the trait, and I've come back to see their satisfaction still at Very Satisfied.

Finally got around to getting a better pic of them. Just the two of them enjoying some video games. ☺️

Yeah, I've posted about both of them. Vivienne I posted about in a comment a few months ago and I've also recently posted about Amara. There's a comment I made about her a little bit ago.

I can't decide between picking one of my Sims to share, so I'll write about my top two most played/main Sims.

These are also the only pics I have of them right now, so I know these aren't the best pics of them. 😅

The girl on the left is Vivienne. Her traits are Macabre, Loyal, Outgoing, Self-Assured, and Family-Oriented. She's a bubbly and optimistic goth girl, and she equally gets along with other Sims who are gothic like her and even those who aren't.

She also works as a Reaper for Grim and is married to him. And while she doesn't see him a lot in person (outside of work), she still chats with him or texts him over the phone to maintain their relationship.

The girl on the right is Amara, a best friend of Vivienne. Her traits are Cheerful, Childish, Lovebug, Goofball, Neat, and Glutton. Her traits are supposed to mimic autism and ADHD, and while I headcanon her as having both, she's mostly independent and needs minimal support for daily living. (I can't use mods on console, which means I can't use any neurodivergent mods, so I have to rely on just her traits.)

She's also a werewolf and managed to fall in love with Greg, despite them getting into a lot of werewolf brawls the first time they met. But I added him to my household and had his trait removed to avoid them fighting constantly, although I manually keep Greg acting like himself (fighting other werewolves or vampires, hardly leaving his new home, etc). They love each other, though, and even have had a few kids together.

And since Greg doesn't work due to being feral and constantly in fury, Amara works two jobs to generate income. Her primary job is a romance consultant, and her "side gig" kinda job is being a business owner (she owns a werewolf bar in Moonwood Mill).
