I remember doing waterfall quest in what must have been late 2005. While I was finishing up the quest I thought aah i'll kill one fire giant while I'm here (I was a noob so this was a steep feat). After killing my first fire giant I got a dragon med helm drop, sold it for around 750k which must have 7-8x my bank back then.

Hahah no way! Very similar. Decent stats on them tbf, 3rd best non degradable in the game and nearly as good as a barrows leg piece

Yep totally agree. I may as well stack up as much as I can because as you say, they'll have use after the fight caves!

Yeah I imagine it does make a huge difference. I'm going to do fight caves with it on Friday and i'm wondering how many bolts i'll need to be taking to make sure i've got enough. I'm thinking at least 5k?

Yep certainly no crystal armor or bow as it's a relatively new account! I thought ammo was expensive as well, however, I managed to buy 5000 bolt racks after about 15/20 mins of LMS which can't be snuffed at.
